Race 1. (12:10) Tab Highway Handicap (1400m)

#3 – Girls Are Ready @ $9.50 – Bet Now

Girls Are Ready ran well for third when fresh up at Canberra and it could improve nicely for this.

The three-year-old filly still has plenty of maturing to do and that bodes well for the rest of her career, which already includes two wins.

This isn’t the strongest Highway Handicap field we’ve seen either.

Race 2. (12:45) ATC Member Tours BM78 (1500m)

#4 – Zalette @ $5 – Bet Now

Chris Waller lines up the talented mare which won her first three races before going off the boil a touch.

The daughter of Medaglia D’oro didn’t beat many runners home at her last five starts but she has been freshened for this and could return a winner.

Seeing Hugh Bowman in the saddle is a positive sign and it could pay a nice price with bookmakers.

Race 3. (13:20) Everest Carnival BM78 (1500m)

#2 – Thy Kingdom Come @ $3.80 – Bet Now

The John Thompson-trained five-year-old ran well for second last start when upset winner I Am Vinnie won.

He’s only going to be better for that run and this is a slightly easier field. He has had three runs in this campaign and looks set to score a win.

James McDonald sticks with him and that’s a good sign.

Race 4. (13:55) Nathan’s Famous BM78 (2000m)

#2 – The Good Fight @ $23 – Bet Now

Kiwi runner The Good Fight comes over with good form and he looks a top chance at each-way odds.

The Shaune Ritchie-trained son of High Chaparral scored a win at Te Rapa earlier this month and prior to that he finished ninth behind Glory Days in the Auckland Cup.

That’s extremely strong form for this race and Hugh Bowman takes the ride.

Looks a great chance at running in the money.

Race 5. (14:30) Sky Racing San Domenico Stakes (1100m)

#3 – Bivouac @ $1.60 – Bet Now

That was one of the more impressive wins we’ve seen in a long time when Bivouac won at Caulfield.

The Cummings-trained three-year-old boomed home to score by 4.3 lengths over a good field and that should hold the colt in good stead for this.

This is a hot field but he’s the most progressive type running and should prove to be a good bet for punters.

Race 6. (15:10) Iron Jack Premier’s Cup (1900m)

#6 – Girl Tuesday @ $3.90 – Bet Now

It was hard not to be impressed with the win from Girl Tuesday at Randwick last time out.

She has always been a confidence horse and scoring by 1.8 lengths should see her carry on with it now.

She’s a six-time winner from 12 starts which has always had the ability to win a good race during the spring and now she gets her chance.

53.5kg on her back allows that to happen.

Race 7. (15:50) Ming Dynasty Quality (1400m)

#6 – Maddi Rocks @ $3.80 – Bet Now

Maddi Rocks ran well for second last start and that came behind Pandemic, who could be a very handy race horse.

The Waller-trained three-year-old has yet to finish outside the first two home and that consistency has rewarded punters.

Drawing barrier 10 will see her settle back in the run but she’s helped out by having only 54kg on her back.

Race 8. (16:30) TAB BM88 (1200m)

#8 – Haut Brion Her @ $5.50 – Bet Now

The four-year-old mare has rattled off four consecutive wins coming into this and she’s a nice type in the making.

Trained by Chris Waller, the daughter of Zoustar was too good for a couple of recent winners and her form lines read very well.

Drawing barrier 14 makes it a little tough for her, but James McDonald will likely send her forward and be tough to beat from there.

Race 9. (17:10) Australian Turf Club BM78 (1100m)

#9 – God of Thunder @ $2.60 – Bet Now

Scorched home for second last start and he would have won with a little more distance.

The four-year-old gelding has always shown enough ability to win in Saturday grade and he’ll likely get back and storm home again.

If there’s pace on up front, expect God of Thunder to be thundering home.
