Rosehill Racing Tips for Saturday, July 18th 2026

We have expert betting tips for racing at Rosehill on Saturday, which features 10 quality races for punters to enjoy.

Punters get good value odds for the New South Wales meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Race 1. (11:15) Kia Ora Bloodlines to Headlines Handicap (1200m)

#2 – Seeiaye @ $3.00

We liked the way Seeiaye dug deep to run second behind a smart type last start, and the form should hold up well out of that race.

The Peter Snowden-trained gelding showed elite pace when scoring on debut, and if that speed can return, he should win.

Take the $3 odds before late money comes for the favourite.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 2. (11:50) Midway BM72 (1300m)

#14 – Embrace the Wind @ $6.50

Punters get each-way odds for Embrace the Wind, who is better than what he has shown either side of a spell.

The three-year-old colt managed only eighth in runs at Rosehill, but he wasn’t beaten far last start, so it was better than it looked.

55.5kg is ideal, and it’s an even race, so include him in picks.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 3. (12:25) Tab Highway C2 (1100m)

#4 – Copperline @ $7.00

Seeking three consecutive wins is Copperline, who won both races at Scone, and that form usually holds up well in Highways.

The three-year-old son of Sebring Sun scored by a half-length against a tidy field last start, and punters get generous odds for the loose favourite.

Zac Lloyd is riding well, so confidence levels are high.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 4. (13:00) Find Your Stakes Winner BM62 (1500m)

#1 – Ballpark @ $4.00

Ballpark could be a nice type in the making after winning his last two starts at Canterbury and Randwick.

The three-year-old son of Zoustar defeated a similar field last time out, and although carrying 58kg isn’t easy, he deserves to be top weight.

Barrier two is ideal, so the $4 odds are worth taking.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 5. (13:35) Congratulations ATC Member Jane McDonald BM78 (2400m)

#11 – Deal ‘N’ Dash @ $8.50

Bjorn Baker lines up Deal ‘N’ Dash, who didn’t fire at Warwick Farm fresh up, but he improved to run fourth at Randwick.

The four-year-old son of Dundeel is bred to enjoy the rise in distance, so punters should expect to see better results.

The inside draw with 54kg on his back is enough to take him close.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (14:10) Ranvet BM78 (1200m)

#5 – Jellicious @ $8.50

We have given Jellicous a few chances this season, and we’re giving her one more chance to produce the goods.

The four-year-old mare by Snitzel has shown ability throughout her career, and we liked the way she battled on for fourth last start.

The odds make her a worthwhile pick.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 7. (14:45) Schweppes Handicap (1100m)

#10 – Ice Kool @ $1.80

It’s only winter racing, but Ice Kool looks to have serious ability after winning four of his five starts.

The three-year-old son of Zoustar runs at short odds, but he gets in with 52.5kg, and that’s enough to take him close.

He runs good enough times to put this field away, and he has become a must-watch thoroughbred.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 8. (15:25) Racing and Sports BM88 (1300m)

#7 – Elouyou @ $11.00

Punters get big odds for Elouyou, who has threatened to win this season in Victoria, and coming to Sydney could help his chances.

The six-year-old son of So You Think is a past winner at Rosehill, so he has experience here, and that could spark him back into life.

It’s an even field, so the $11 is a good price.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 9. (16:05) Toyota Forklifts Winter Challenge (1500m)

#2 – General Salute @ $5.00

We got the value odds for General Salute when scoring at Rosehill two weeks ago, and there is no reason to jump off his back.

The five-year-old gelding owns four wins and eight placings from 18 starts, including two wins at Rosehill.

It’s a good record, and the $5 odds are worth taking.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 10. (16:40) Rosehill Bowling Club BM78 (1200m)

#12 – Columbia Blue @ $3.90

Columbia Blue should have won last time out after soaking up early pressure and only going down by a pimple on the line.

The four-year-old will need to do work from barrier 16, but if Nash Rawiller can find cover, he should outsprint them late.

Things need to go his way, but we’re happy to take the risk.

Stake: 1 Unit
