Rosehill horse racing tips
Race 1. (12:05) Power Access BM72 (1400m)
#2 – Rule The World – Bet Now
Rule The World is unbeaten after two starts and he could return in good order here.
The Waterhouse/Bott-trained gelding scored on debut at Canterbury before doubling down at Randwick with another win.
He showed good barrier speed in both starts, so expect the son of Hallowed Crown to lead again.
Tough field but he could mature into a nice type.
Race 2. (12:40) TAB Highway C3 (1200m)
#13 – Hard Merchandise – Bet Now
The six-year-old is overdue a win after rattling off four consecutive second placings this preparation.
His last two starts have come by narrow margins and he certainly deserves a winning turn.
That could come here against yet another even Highway Handicap field, so stick with him and he’s helped by having only 54kg on his back.
Race 3. (13:20) Tooheys 150th Birthday BM88 (1500m)
#5 – Mushaireb @ $3 – Bet Now
Team Freedman lines up the five-year-old gelding which pushed Ranier close at Rosehill last time out.
That form should stack up nicely for this run and although he has put in some average runs, he has taken on some stiff opposition.
Drawing barrier three is going to help his chances and Brenton Avdulla is coming off a win in the Bondi Stakes, so his confidence is up.
Race 4. (14:00) Chandon S BM88 (1100m)
#8 – Ljungberg @ $5.50 – Bet Now
Ljungberg is always a danger when carrying a light weight and the 55kg brings him into contention.
He’s coming off a moderate run for sixth at Randwick in July, but having had the break should see him in good order for this.
The son of I Am Invincible has a good fresh-up record and we’re expecting a nice effort this Saturday.
Punters are getting nice odds at $5.50 and he could shorten come race day.
Race 5. (14:40) TAB BM78 (1200m)
#5 – Dance Hall Girl @ $4 – Bet Now
Dance Hall Girl has some talent after scoring three consecutive wins. She didn’t fire at Newcastle last start but she’s better than that.
Tim Martin lines up the four-year-old mare which showed her class when winning by 1.8 lengths at Warwick Farm three starts back.
She gets the inside draw to work with here and that’s going to make her tough to beat.
It could pay to watch for late betting moves with this runner.
Race 9. (17:40) Wisdom Homes BM78 (1300m)
#3 – Outrageous @ $3 – Bet Now
Outrageous is the class runner of this field despite winning only two of his 19 career starts.
The Hawkes-trained gelding ran third at Randwick last start behind Signore Fox and that form must stack up nicely for this.
He’s a son of All Too Hard which has placed on this track in the past and despite the big weight, he should be fighting out the finish against an even field.
