Looking to win at each-way odds is Quello Dorato, who showed good early speed to place at Geelong before battling for sixth last time out.

The four-year-old son of Trapeze Artist is a half-brother to Bella Nipotina, so there are high expectations, and he shouldn’t take long to win.

Monte Cassino wasn’t too far away from them when sixth at Flemington last start, and the drop in class should be enough to see go close.

The three-year-old son of Tivaci owns four placings from seven starts, and although he has drawn wide, he has time to find cover.

Boga Legend capped off solid form with a win at Geelong, and he’s good enough to go back-to-back.

The four-year-old son of Puissance de Lune owns two wins and five placings, and his best form comes on rain-affected tracks.

Bossy Star capped off many third placings with a win at Sale, and his consistency could see him score another victory.

The four-year-old son of Street Boss owns a win and a placing at Sale, so he doesn’t need to improve too much to win this race.

2kg comes off his back to help, so he’s worth including in picks.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Down Low ended last preparation with some tidy performances, including a win at Mornington followed by three consecutive placings.

Getting the inside draw with weight off his back is ideal, and he has yet to finish worse than third in two starts at Sale.

He should be tough to beat on Wednesday.

Boasting five wins and six placings from 22 starts is Sirius Statement, who scored back-to-back wins before struggling last time out.

The five-year-old mare by Press Statement will need a touch of luck from the wide draw but getting weight off her back helps.
