The two-year-old son of Hellbent ran second behind Rich on Bubbles, who took on a tough field on Saturday, so the form checks out.

It’s not an easy race, but he should be right around the mark.

#5 – Vangogh Bankcheque @ $2.50

Vangogh Bankcheque is one of our better bets on the card following a third placing behind Legacy Bound at Flemington.

That was a tough resuming race for the three-year-old, but he found the line well enough to suggest that he can handle this field.

Look for him to settle back and come with a sustained run.

#4 – You’re Two Vain @ $5.00

You’re Two Vain ended his unbeaten run when finishing fourth at Ballarat, but he looked good with four wins prior to that.

The four-year-old son of Magnus scored by 1.8 lengths at Caulfield, so he has city form, and that should take him close on Monday.

His recent jumpout win should have him ready to produce a good run.

#3 – Sister Shay @ $4.50
