Sandown Racing Tips for Wednesday, June 3rd 2026

We have expert betting tips for racing at Sandown on Wednesday, which includes eight races at the quality meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the Victorian meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Race 1. (12:25) Sportsbet Jockey Watch Maiden (1200m)

#12 – Miss Lola @ $2.30

Miss Lola was only narrowly beaten in her Victorian debut for Chris Waller, but punters should stick with her.

The three-year-old filly has been unlucky not to win a race by now, but after posting five placings from eight starts, her time to strike is now.

We’ll stick with her until she wins a race.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 2. (13:00) Thoroughbred Club of Australia Handicap (1400m)

#4 – Satono’s Shout @ $5.00

Punters get each-way odds for Satono’s Shout, who ran fourth on debut at Warrnambool in heavy track conditions.

It was a good first-up effort, and the two-year-old will only be stronger for it. He is in good hands with Waller, and a strong rider in Ben Melham is in the saddle.

Everything points towards a good showing on Wednesday.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 3. (13:35) Sportbet Blackbook BM70 (2100m)

#2 – Oak Beach @ $2.40

Oak Beach has yet to win this preparation, but she looked good last time in work when scoring at Moe and Seymour.

The four-year-old mare by Fiorente wasn’t far away when running fourth at Pakenham last start and facing a small field won’t worry her.

She is worth including in picks as the favourite.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 4. (14:10) Tobin Brothers Celebrating Lives BM74 (2400m)

#3 – Houdini @ $3.10

Houdini might have finished eighth last start at Sandown, but after getting too far back in the run, it was a better effort than it looked.

The four-year-old son of Snitzel couldn’t escape the pocket down the straight, and he only got going over the last 100m.

A better ride should see him run well, and Mark Zahra is in the saddle this time.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 5. (14:45) Sportsbet Race Replays BM74 (1400m)

#6 – Louis Barthas @ $5.50

Looking to win four on the bounce is Louis Barthas, who scored at Sale before adding wins at Bendigo and Sandown.

The five-year-old son of Zoustar has yet to finish worse than third at Sandown, including a win, and he’s a good chance to win again.

$5.50 is better than expected, so include him for value.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (15:20) Stow Storage Solutions BM64 (1200m)

#8 – Brilliant Horizon @ $7.50

Looking to make an impression fresh up is Brilliant Horizon, who scored on debut at Cranbourne, and she could get back to that level.

The three-year-old filly by Impending has a placing at Mornington since her debut win, and she should come back stronger with a spell under her belt.

Punters get value odds from bookmakers, so include her in picks.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 7. (15:55) Evergreen Turf BM66 (1400m)

#5 – Camp Cable @ $16.00

Camp Cable could measure up at this level following wins at Pakenham and Seymour, and he is a runner worth following.

The four-year-old son of Cable Bay owns three wins and three placings from nine starts, and soft track conditions are right up his alley.

3kg comes off his back, and $16 is a great price from bookies.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 8. (16:30) Sportsbet More Places BM66 (1200m)

#7 – Rodriguez @ $6.00

Value odds are with Rodriguez, who has yet to run a bad race with two wins and three placings from six starts.

The four-year-old son of Cable Bay kicked things off this prep with a third placing at Caulfield, and he often improves with a run under his belt.

Craig Williams rides, so he is worth including in picks.

Stake: 1.5 Units
