Sandown Racing Tips for Wednesday, September 10th 2025

We have expert betting tips for racing at Sandown on Wednesday, which includes eight races at the midweek meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the Victorian meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Sandown racing tips

Race 1. (13:10) Blackbook Maiden (1300m)

#7 – Sea Trader @ $3.70

Looking to win on debut is Sea Trader, who looked good winning a trial at Bendigo last month.

The three-year-old colt by Hanseatic will need luck from a wide draw, but if he finds cover, he could finish over the top.

Take the $3.70 before money comes for him.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 2. (13:45) MRC Member Spring Rewards BM78 (2400m)

#5 – Dreams Come True @ $3.30

Dreams Come True is already a three-time winner this campaign, and we like the way she found the line to score last time out.

The five-year-old mare by Stephanos won by a nose in a driving affair and showing that determination should see her go close here.

Jamie Melham rides, and that adds to our confidence.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 3. (14:20) Green Tick BM64 (1000m)

#4 – Point Barrow @ $3.90

We backed Point Borrow to win a tough race on Saturday before she was scratched, and this is a much easier task.

The three-year-old filly by Blue Point ran third at Caulfield on debut before winning at Bendigo, and that form is good enough.

Money could come for her, so take the $3.90 available.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 4. (14:55) Tile Importer BM70 (1000m)

#10 – Visual @ $4.20

Visual was too good for them when winning on debut at Hawkesbury, and she could return from a spell with a big effort.

The daughter of I Am Invincible runs for a new stable, and running in Victoria should only help her chances of staying unbeaten.

The former Cummings runners have been flying, so include her in picks.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 5. (15:30) Sportsbet Feed BM70 (1600m)

#5 – Margie’s Boy @ $11.00

The seven-year-old owns five wins from 23 starts, which is a good enough record to beat this field at double-figure odds.

He ran second at his only attempt at Sandown, which came two starts back before heading to Randwick and struggling behind Glad You Think So.

There is less depth to this field, so he could take advantage.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (16:05) Stow Storage Solutions BM66 (1300m)

#10 – Kirribilli @ $5.00

Kirribilli showed good speed when winning on debut at Cranbourne before placing at Caulfield two back.

The four-year-old mare by Snitzel is bred to be better than average, and she wasn’t too far behind Arabian Summer last start, who ran well on Saturday.

Getting 3kg off her back is ideal, so she should run well.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 7. (16:40) Evergreen Turf BM70 (1800m)

#12 – Kaazi @ $9.00

Punters got generous odds with Kaazi last time out, and that’s the case again. He’s paying $9, which is an excellent price for a runner coming off back-to-back wins.

The four-year-old son of Study of Man will need luck from a wide barrier, but he could have a bright future at the midweek level.

We recommend taking the odds available, which are generous.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 8. (17:15) Same Race Multi BM78 (1400m)

#3 – Justadeel @ $3.00

Boasting three wins and three placings from eight starts is Justadeel, who scored at Sandown last time out by a short margin.

The five-year-old son of Dundeel owns two second placings at Sandown, and he has yet to finish worse than second over the distance.

Mark Zahra rides, and he should run well against this field.

Stake: 1.5 Units
