The Waterhouse/Bott-trained gelding shouldn’t take long to win a race at this level, and it’s good to see betting support come for him.

Barrier four is ideal, and Winona Costin is riding well.

The three-year-old son of Headwater scored easily by 2.5 lengths last time out as a $1.75 favourite, so the $1.85 odds are good enough.

#5 – Oakfield Utah @ $3.00

The Scott Singleton-trained gelding owns three wins from five starts, so the record stands out, and he could add another.

Barrier 15 is awkward, but he could finish over the top of them late.
