Seymour Racing Tips for Sunday, July 19th 2026

We have expert betting tips for racing at Seymour on Sunday, which includes nine races at the weekend meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the Victorian meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Race 1. (11:40) Bet365 Bet Boost Handicap (1425m)

#1 – Lift Net

Looking for consecutive wins is Lift Net, who was too good for them at Ballarat Synthetic last time out.

The two-year-old son of Brazen Beau got the better of Thinkyahot, who raced on Thursday, and that form should hold up well.

Having winning form should be enough to take him close.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 2. (12:15) Early Espionage Speed Maiden (1200m)

#2 – Caxton Street

The two-year-old gelding by Written Tycoon cost $475,000, and he looks ready to fire following a jumpout win at Flemington.

He is bred to be better than average, and although the heavy track isn’t ideal, he looks set to cope with the conditions.

Look for a betting push on the weekend.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 3. (12:55) Mangalore Park Maiden (1100m)

#3 – Points for Effort

Points for Effort has improved nicely throughout this preparation, culminating in a second placing at Ballarat Synthetic last start.

The three-year-old son of Blue Point owns two placings from seven starts overall, and getting barrier three is ideal.

It shouldn’t take him too much longer to win a race.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 4. (13:35) Haeusler's Maiden (1300m)

#9 – Raven's Glow

Raven’s Glow ended her first preparation with a placing at Albury, and she could hit the ground running.

The three-year-old filly by Crackerjack King shouldn’t need a run to show his best on Sunday, and it’s an open field.

Barrier three with Lachlan King riding adds to his chances of winning.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 5. (14:10) Racetrack Vets Maiden (1600m)

#12 – Venus Shock

Venus Shock ran seventh as a $71 chance at Pakenham last time out, but we’re giving her a chance.

The Lindsay Park-trained daughter of Shocking was always going to need time under her belt, and rising to 1600m in heavy conditions is ideal.

We expect her to be right around the mark at nice odds.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (14:45) Magic Millions Digital BM62 (1600m)

#12 – Baywatch

Baywatch hasn’t run well this preparation in three attempts, but we’re giving her one more chance.

The four-year-old mare showed speed when winning at Sale, and if that form comes to the table, she should be competitive.

Barrier two is ideal, so include her for value.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 7. (15:25) Seymour Park Stud Hand Appreciation BM62 (2040m)

#4 – High Tempo

Lindsay Park lines up High Tempo, who owns three wins and six placings from 15 starts, which is a handy record.

The five-year-old mare by Unusual Suspect ran second at Ballarat two back, and she wasn’t far away when running fifth at Sale last time out.

1.5kg comes off her back, which is enough to take her close.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 8. (16:05) Blue Gum Farm Libertad BM62 (1000m)

#5 – Scoobartie

Seeking consecutive wins is Scoobartie, who scored a deserved three-length maiden win last time out.

The three-year-old son of Flying Artie owns a win and five placings from seven starts, and he only needs luck from a wide barrier.

It’s a strong BM62 field, but he has plenty of upside.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 9. (16:45) Tallarook Rural Supplies BM62 (1300m)

#10 – Our Justify

Jerome Hunter lines up Our Justify, who has gone close in two runs this preparation at Mornington and Caulfield.

The three-year-old filly by Justify should appreciate the conditions, and Hunter-trained runners typically handle heavy tracks.

Look for a betting move on race day.

Stake: 1 Unit
