Za Za Best improved to run second at Wangaratta last time out, and that run should do his confidence the world of good.
The Busuttin/Young-trained gelding will enjoy running over longer distances, and with fitness under his belt, he could score a maiden win.
It’s not a strong field, so take the $3.30 odds.

We expect the odds for Puglia to shorten considerably on race day, and she is due a maiden win after so many solid efforts.
The four-year-old mare by Cable Bay owns six placings from seven starts, and that form is tough to overlook at the midweek level.
Barrier 15 isn’t too much of a worry, so include her in picks.

Punters get good odds for Una Gentle, who hasn’t been far away from breaking through recently.
She ran second at Sale in June before running solid races at Kilmore and Bairnsdale. This isn’t any easier, but she was competitive in those races.
If she gets luck from out wide, she should be right in the mix.
Stake: 1 Unit
Louis Barthas has had one run in Australia for a third at Sale, having come from Europe with a placing from five starts.
The Nick Ryan-trained son of Zoustar finished under a length from the winner last start, which should be a good form guide for this race.
We’re not surprised by the odds, so include him in multis.
Stake: 2 Units
The three-year-old son of I Am Immortal wasn’t far away fresh up when running fourth, and he should be much fitter for the outing.
He showed good speed when winning at The Valley last season when scoring by 1.8 lengths in a dominant display. If that form returns, he wins by a similar margin here.
The $4.50 odds are worth including in horse racing picks.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Gellhorn showed ability when breaking maidens at Caulfield last preparation before running behind Benagil in a much harder race.
The stable thinks plenty of the four-year-old mare, who could resume with a big effort on Thursday, and her fresh up form reads well.
Getting the inside draw could be enough to take her close.
Stake: 1.5 Units
It’s not easy to back Prochester consistently, but the Kiwi runner should be fit and ready to fire after two runs this prep.
He raced at Flemington multiple times last campaign, including running second behind Shockletz over 2000m. That is an excellent open class form guide for BM62 racing.
He’s only a one-time winner, which is the deterrent, but we’re sticking with him.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Big bets have come for Macedon Rose, who ran third in a strong race at Ballarat, and that form should hold up well at Seymour.
The four-year-old mare by Territories won her only start at Seymour, so getting back to this track could spark her back into life.
She’s a late entry, and that’s often a good sign.
Stake: 2 Units
