Sha Tin free tips & form

Race 1. (14:30) The Racing Club Plate (1200m)

#5 – G Unit – Bet Now

G Unit has run two good races for third placings and could improve to win this. The John Moore-trained runner battled away nicely last start and improvement is expected now.

Dropping to 54.5kg is ideal and Zac Purton takes the ride, so there’s plenty of positives in its favour.

Race 2. (15:00) The Spirit of Champions Handicap (1200m)

#1 – Fortune Happiness – Bet Now

There isn’t much strong form in this race and Fortune Happiness could take advantage of that.

The Lui-trained runner is looking to bounce back from a poor outing last start but he is inconsistent enough to run well here.

Punters are getting good odds and they’re worth taking.

Race 3. (15:30) Ownership Pride Handicap (1400m)

#7 – Surewin – Bet Now

Scored a terrific win two starts back and although it couldn’t win last time out, it could rebound for victory here.

Comes into this off a 29-day let up but there has been good early betting support for Surewin and it could take the chocolates in the third race on the card.

Race 4. (16:00) Racing Heritage Handicap (1200m)

#9 – Thebeastfortheeast – Bet Now

The Tony Cruz-trained runner comes into this after a spell. Prior to that he scored a win and that should hold him in good stead for this.

That capped off some improving performances and despite drawing a touch wide in barrier 10, Karis Teetan is good enough to find some cover.

Should be running at each-way odds.

Race 5. (16:30) The Hilltop In The Valley Handicap (1200m)

#9 – Fame And Fortune – Bet Now

Capped off some strong form with a win at Sha Tin last time out. The David Hall-trained runner rises in weight for this but looks capable of handling it.

Former Australian rider Matthew Poon takes the ride and he takes 1.5kg off his back. That should bring him right into contention.

Has been well backed throughout the week.

Race 6. (17:00) Sha Tin Clubhouse Handicap (1600m)

#10 – Dor Dor – Bet Now

Hasn’t won for awhile now but he does have a recent placing and that could be enough to see him run in the money here.

The John Size-trained runner wasn’t too far behind the winner last time out and having Joao Moreira in the saddle is going to help his chances.

Each way odds are expected in a tough field here.

Race 7. (17:35) Beas River Country Club Handicap (1400m)

#3 – Magic Success – Bet Now

Looked the goods when scoring two back and that win came by 3.5 lengths. The Moore-trained runner then sat on the pace and ran third last time out.

Gets the inside draw to work with here and having Zac Purton in the saddle is only going to help his chances.

Has opened up as an odds-on favourite and that should hold steady.

Race 8. (18:05) The Member’s Cup (1000m)

#8 – Highland Fortune – Bet Now

Better than what he showed last time out and his effort for second two back was a better indicator.

Gets the inside draw and despite not having recent winning form, it should return to form here.

Punters are getting nice odds and he’s worth including in selections.

Race 9. (18:35) Beijing Clubhouse Handicap (1200m)

#5 – Monkey Jewellery – Bet Now

John Size lines up the talented type which has yet to win from three starts, but the breeding is impressive and he always carries good betting support.

Has been running against some nice types and doesn’t need to improve much to figure in the finish here.

Race 10. (19:10) Levade Handicap (1200m)

#13 – Good Beauty – Bet Now

Good Beauty is a last-start winner which scored at Sha Tin last time out. The John Moore-trained runner likes to settle back before hitting the line with power.

That’s likely to be the tactics here and punters are getting almost double-figure odds for the progressive type.

Race 11. (19:45) Members Care Handicap (1400m)

#4 – Golden Sixty – Bet Now

Golden Sixty is unbeaten in three starts and that run could continue here. The Lui-trained runner has had a month break and should return in fine order.

He scored as the favourite on this track last start and although facing a harder task here, he’s more than capable of handling it.
