Sha Tin Racing Tips for Sunday, May 24th 2026

We have expert betting tips for racing at Sha Tin in Hong Kong on Sunday, which includes 11 races at the quality Group 1 meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the Hong Kong racing feature, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Race 1. (15:30) Standard Chartered Digital Assets Handicap (1600m)

#6 – Soaring Bronco

Owning a win and two placings from his last three starts is Soaring Bronco, who is good enough to beat this field.

The five-year-old son of Tivaci owns a win and four placings at Sha Tin, and although this is a hot field to open the card, he should be right around the mark.

He should get a nice drag into the race, so include him in picks.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 2. (16:00) Standard Chartered Sustainable Finance (1400m)

#8 – Happy Promise

Looking to improve on a debut fourth at Happy Promise, who gets the services of James McDonald in the saddle.

The David Hayes-trained three-year-old ran at $10 odds behind Mr Incredible, and punters should expect shorter odds this time around.

Barrier four is enough to take him close.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 3. (16:30) Standard Chartered Greater Bay Area Handicap (1200m)

#1 – Conrad Patch

Conrad Patch looks to get back to his winning ways after a few average efforts, but he could go under the radar on Sunday.

The three-year-old son of Zousain won at Sha Tin in March, and he hasn’t finished worse than 3.5 lengths behind the winner since.

His form is better than it looks, so snap up the value.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 4. (17:00) Standard Chartered Investment Banking Handicap (1200m)

#3 – Packing King

Seeking back-to-back wins is Packing King, who won narrowly at Sha Tin with Zac Purton in the saddle.

It’s good to see Purton sticking with the four-year-old son of Darci Brahma, who appeared to have needed the runs during his first preparation.

He could be a runner worth following in a winnable race.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 5. (17:30) Standard Chartered Priority Private Handicap (1600m)

#2 – Big Return

Seeking three consecutive wins is Big Return, who scored by just under a length two back before just getting the win last start.

The four-year-old son of Divine Prophet has turned his form around smartly this campaign, and he could kick on with it.

Barrier six should allow him to find a good spot and kick on strongly.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (18:00) Standard Chartered Priority Banking Handicap (1400m)

#2 – Top Time

Top Time showed good speed when running second fresh up at Sha Tin, and it shouldn’t take him long to win a race this preparation.

The four-year-old son of Time Test owns four placings from eight starts on this surface, and he won’t take long to win here.

Punters should get generous odds on race day.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 7. (18:30) Standard Chartered Wealth Solutions Handicap (1800m)

#11 – The Golden Knight

The Golden Knight didn’t fire last time out when running 11th, but we fancy his chances of bouncing back on Sunday

He looked much better when winning back-to-back races at Sha Tin, where he won both starts by a nose in driving finishes.

He’s tough on his day, so include him at odds.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 9. (19:45) Standard Chartered Global Bank Handicap (1400m)

#5 – Six Pack

Six Pack won earlier this preparation before adding four placings to his record, which is looking good this season.

The five-year-old son of Rubick is only a three-time winner from 23 starts, but it won’t take him long to add another win to his record.

Alex Badel rides, which adds to our confidence levels.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 10. (20:20) Standard Chartered Renminbi Business Handicap (1200m)

#10 – Endurance Express

Endurance Express won on debut at Sunshine Coast by over two lengths before being sold to Hong Kong interests.

The three-year-old son of Invader could make a winning debut in Hong Kong, and Nichola Yuen has been riding well with the 4.5kg claim.

We expect him to be right around the mark.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 11. (20:55) Standard Chartered SME Banking Handicap (1400m)

#2 – Continent Express

The three-year-old gelding looked good in New Zealand when winning at Rotorua and Ellerslie, and that form should stack up well.

His most recent win came by 1.8 lengths with Opie Bosson riding, and despite drawing barrier 14, luck from out wide should take him close.

Look for a betting push on race day.

Stake: 1.5 Units
