Sha Tin horse racing tips

Race 1. (15:15) L’oreal Paris C5 Handicap (1200m)

#3 – Starlot – Bet Now

Starlot comes into this following a win at Happy Valley last start and there’s no reason why he can’t win again.

That win came by a half-length and he’s racing in good form at the moment.

Zac Purton usually kicks off the meeting well and he’s the man to have in the saddle.

Race 2. (15:45) Kate Tokyo C4 Handicap (1000m)

#2 – Victory Power – Bet Now

Victory Power is knocking on the door after recording back-to-back placings.

The Douglas Whyte-trained runner gets the benefit of 4.5kg coming off his back and he could turn consistent form into winning form.

He knows how to sit on the speed and kick, which is always a positive at Sha Tin.

Race 3. (16:15) Kose Cosmeport C4 (1200m)

#2 – Majestic Conqueror – Bet Now

He ran fifth on debut but quickly improved to run second at Sha Tin last time out.

He finished only 1.8 lengths behind Monkey Jewellery on debut and that form has since stacked up very nicely.

Having his third start this campaign and that race fitness should hold him in good stead for this.

Race 4. (16:45) Canmake Tokyo C3 (1200m)

#9 – Beauty Applause – Bet Now

Beauty Applause has the class edge over this field and there has been a stack of early money come for him.

The John Size-trained runner scored by a half-length over a good field two back and he looks a good chance to win fresh up.

Joao Moreira takes the ride from the inside draw and he’s tough to beat.

Race 5. (17:15) Suisse Programme C4 (1400m)

#2 – Relentess Me – Bet Now

Relentless Me has a good chance of going back-to-back after scoring nicely at Sha Tin last time out.

The Whyte-trained runner has turned around his form nicely this season, which includes a win and a placing.

It’s another good ride for Alfred Chan, who claims 4.5kg and that brings him into contention.

Race 6. (17:50) Revlon C2 Handicap (1200m)

#2 – Fat Turtle – Bet Now

Fat Turtle is a popular pick and he’s coming off a stylish win at Sha Tin.

The Lor-trained runner scored convincingly by three lengths and that form is always going to hold up nicely in this grade.

He’s fitter now and although he rises up in weight, Moreira takes the ride and he has the class edge over this field.

Race 7. (18:20) Sa Sa Ladies’ Purse (1800m)

#1 – Exultant – Bet Now

Exultant is all class and he comes into this having won the Group 1 Champions & Chater Cup last season.

Fresh up form reads very well and punters should be confident. His last fresh up start came in the Group 1 QEII Cup where he finished second behind Win Bright

It’s impossible to overlook his form and although he’ll run at short odds, he must be on the ticket.

Race 8. (18:55) Ahava C3 Handicap (1400m)

#3 – Money Back – Bet Now

If it has been a tough day for punters, they could get their money back with Money Back.

The Paul O’Sullivan-trained runner finished fairly for sixth last time out but he was always going to improve out of that.

Form last campaign included a win and two second placings, which would be good enough to see him winning this.

Nice odds on offer.

Race 9. (19:30) La Estephe C3 Handicap (1600m)

#8 – Beauty Day – Bet Now

Beauty Day could go back-to-back after scoring by a half-length on this track last time out.

He doesn’t know how to run a bad race and it’s another quality ride for the apprentice Alfred Chan. That 4.5 claim brings him into contention.

Doesn’t need to improve too much to win this.

Race 10. (20:05) Eleanor C2 Handicap (1600m)

#5 – Star Performance – Bet Now

Scored a good win fresh up and has backed that up with consecutive third placings.

From the top Tony Cruz stable and having Joao Moreira in the saddle is never a negative.

Gets a good run from barrier four and punters could close the 10-race card in style with Star Performance.
