Race 2. (14:00) Hogan Plumbing Group Maiden (1400m)
#10 – Talma I Love Her @ $2
Talma I Love Her has been threatening to win a race after posting two placings from seven starts.
The three-year-old son of Sooboog ran fourth at Kempsey last time out, and a repeat of that could be good enough for this field.
We’re not shocked by the short odds.
Race 3. (14:35) Essential Tax Services BM66 (1600m)
#1 – He’s a Copy Boy @ $3.10
He’s a Copy Boy is already a two-time winner at the track, and he could add to his record on Sunday.
The four-year-old son of Press Statement gets all favours with 2kg off his back and that helps with the big allotted weight.
Getting $3.10 is a fair price.
Race 6. (16:30) Tab Super Maiden (1000m)
#7 – Snitzaroo @ $6
Snitzaroo has the benefit of two race day starts, which could be a big factor in this race.
The four-year-old son of Snitzel ran fourth at Newcastle last start, but it’s his recent trial win at Warwick Farm that bodes well.
The each-way odds are too good to pass up.
Race 7. (17:04) Stacks Law Firm Taree Gold Cup (2000m)
#5 – Rogue Bear @ $6
Rogue Bear looked the goods when winning fresh up at Taree, and having winning form on the track helps.
The six-year-old import owns four wins and four placings overall, which could be improved in the feature race on Sunday.
Punters should snap up the each-way odds.

Race 2. (14:05) Weir’s IGA Donald Maiden (1350m)
#14 – Sevillana @ $2.30
Sevillana is nearing her first career win after posting three placings from five starts.
The five-year-old daughter of Rich Enuff comes out of the Symon Wilde stable, which is running hot this season.
This looks like her race to win.
Race 3. (14:40) Goodwin Village Donald Maiden (2200m)
#3 – Kodiak Bear @ $2.15
The four-year-old should have won on debut at Mortlake, so he’s worth following here.
The rising stayer was held up for most of the straight before flashing late to finish second by a nose.
It was a strong effort and rising to 2200m only adds weight to his chances.
Race 5. (15:55) Leading Teams BM64 (1200m)
#3 – No Drama @ $4.20
No Drama has class on his side after posting two wins and two placings from eight starts.
The son of Ghibellines struggled when rising in class last preparation, including running behind the likes of Senegalia and He’ll Rip.
This is a much easier task, so take the each-way odds.
Race 6. (14:25) Bet365 Donald Cup (1620m)
#6 – Angry Skies @ $3.10
Angry Skies deserves to be the favourite in the feature race following good form this preparation.
He won at Morphettville three back before finishing second at Bendigo last time out behind Big Brew.
Carrying 54.5kg is a steal for a runner of his ability.
