Race 1. (12:55) Suez Maiden Plate (1200m)
#9 – Pride of Jenni @ $3.70 – Bet Now
Pride of Jenni looked good when running third on debut and she shouldn’t take long to win a race.
The three-year-old filly ran on nicely behind some smart maiden types, and that form should stack up nicely this season.
Look for a betting move on race day.
Race 3. (14:00) The Haymarket Maiden (1400m)
#10 – Kazuhiko @ $3 – Bet Now
The Lloyd Kennewell-trained colt finished second on debut at Morphettville before running second at Geelong last start.
He is a quality son of Deep Impact that should be winning a race shortly, and he only needs luck from the wide draw.
$3 is a fair price and he should attract attention on race day.
Race 5. (15:10) Mortimer Petroleum Gold Nugget (1600m)
#4 – Shandy @ $1.80 – Bet Now
Shandy has looked excellent this season and she could add another win to her growing record.
The Ellerton/Zahra-trained mare has scored three consecutive wins and she is coming off a powerful victory at Moonee Valley.
It bodes well for another good run here and the daughter of Fiorente is rising through the grades in style.
Race 6. (15:40) Porter Plant BM64 (1600m)
#2 – Irish Playboy @ $3.80 – Bet Now
Irish Playboy has rattled off consecutive wins either side of a spell, and he is a nice type in the making.
The Henry Dwyer-trained son of Fastnet Rock opened up as a $4.40 chance, but her odds have shortened steadily throughout the week.
Drawing wide is tough but he owns winning claims.
Race 8. (16:40) Sportsbet Watch Racing C1 (1100m)
#5 – Little Town Blues @ $2.90 – Bet Now
Little Town Blues is coming off a debut win at Sale and he could remain unbeaten from two starts.
The son of Exceed And Excel scored by a half-length and although facing a harder task on Sunday, he has winning claims.
Having a strong rider in the saddle helps and money is steadily coming for the favourite.
Race 1. (13:20) Great Northern C1 Handicap (1100m)
#4 – Nicci’s Fling @ $1.60 – Bet Now
Gary Portelli lines up the three-year-old filly, which was too good for them at Bathurst last time out.
The daughter of Nicconi scored by a nose before the spell, and she finished third in a recent trial at Rosehill.
She opened at $1.80 and steady money has come for her throughout the week.
Race 3. (14:40) Kel Campbell Fuel Haulage C1 (2200m)
#5 – Sunstone @ $2.25 – Bet Now
Sunstone has recorded three consecutive placings and she deserves to score another win.
The Matthew Dale-trained mare owns a win and six placings from 10 starts, so she is a consistent type.
Lee Magorrian takes the ride from barrier five and she should get every chance from there.
Race 5. (15:45) Pete’s Plumbing BM66 (1600m)
#10 – Land Ahoy @ $2.05 – Bet Now
Land Ahoy set sail on debut when scoring at Scone by 3.3 lengths, and she didn’t do much wrong when third last start.
She finished third behind Bucharest and subsequent winner Highmaster, so the form reads well for a race like this.
Her opening odds were $2.60, so she has attracted plenty of interest throughout the week.
Race 6. (16:24) Vale Rick Worthington BM58 (1100m)
#2 – Double Major @ $3.40 – Bet Now
Double Major was a quality winner on debut and although he was disappointing at Goulburn last start, we’re giving him another chance.
The Joe Pride-trained gelding is bred for speed and there is good betting support, which is a terrific sign.
Drawing barrier three helps and we’re expecting a good run.
