We have expert betting tips for the cards this Tuesday at Tamworth and Coleraine.
There is plenty of value available with bookmakers at the Tuesday meetings and we have our best bets across the cards.
Tuesday horse racing tips
Race 1. (12:35) Kosciuszko Tickets BM66 (2100m)
#3 – Zippy Power @ $2.15 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Zippy Power scored two wins from her last three starts, including a win at Gunnedah last time out.
The four-year-old daughter of Protectionist gets 1.5kg off her back, and despite drifting in betting markets, she’s the one we want to be on.
Take the $2.15 as she could be supported on race day.
Race 2. (13:10) Tamworth City Toyota Maiden (1400m)
#1 – Montari @ $4.80 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Montari owns four placings from eight starts and the four-year-old gelding comes off a trial win at Scone.
The son of Shalaa does some of his best racing on good tracks and he’ll appreciate the firming conditions in New South Wales.
Punters get value each-way odds and they’re worth snapping up.
Race 5. (15:05) C Morgan Leading Trainer C2 (1000m)
#4 – Dimension @ $2.60 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Dimension has been specked since markets opened and the $2.60 could continue to firm on race day.
The four-year-old son of Dundeel comes from Victoria with solid form, including a win at Mornington and a placing at Moonee Valley.
That form should be far too good for this level of opposition.
Race 6. (15:40) D Gibbons Leading Apprentice BM66 (1600m)
#1 – Scorched Land @ $3.40 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Scorched Land is a speedy five-time winner and he could be too quick for them at Tamworth.
Despite his best form coming on rain-affected tracks, the son of Sizzling gets 2kg off his back and we’re expecting a tidy effort.
His odds have already firmed from an opening quote of $3.90 and we see more money coming for him on Tuesday.
Race 1. (13:30) Sungold Milk Maiden (1600m)
#10 – Shesablinder @ $3.50 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Shesablinder is getting close to breaking through after two placings this preparation and the four-year-old mare is the top pick in the opener.
She ran third at Geelong before finishing second at Warrnambool last start, which should be an excellent form guide for this level of racing.
Her odds should firm on race day and she could drop to around $2.70.
Race 3. (14:30) Matko Hire Maiden (1300m)
#4 – Darci’s Debut @ $2.30 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Darci’s Debut has already firmed from an opening quote of $3.70 and that’s some serious early money for the favourite.
The Symon Wilde-trained four-year-old improved significantly to finish third last start and it’s a step in the right direction.
We can’t overlook the betting moves and it could be stable money.
Race 4. (15:00) Cassign BM64 (1400m)
#7 – Elarski @ $3.50 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Elarski has been around the mark in six career starts, including a win at Canberra last year.
The Maher/Eustace-trained four-year-old has since run well at Nowra, Bendigo and Ballarat, so she should enjoy racing against this class.
Getting the inside draw is ideal and the odds should stay around $3.50 close to race time.
Race 5. (15:30) Cassign BM58 (1000m)
#4 – Summit Queen @ $2.10 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Summit Queen showed ability when winning at Hamilton two back and she wasn’t beaten far at Sandown last time out.
The Lindsay Smith-trained daughter of Deep Field was only 2.9 lengths behind the winner in a tough race and dropping in grade is a bonus.
We expect her to be right on the pace off an inside draw.
