Tuesday horse racing tips

Kilmore

Race 1. (13:30) Bet365 Top Tote Plus Maiden (1100m)

#2 – Inundation @ $2.10 – Bet @ Sportsbet

The three-year-old gelding looked the goods when winning a Cranbourne jumpout, which is why he has been heavily backed.

He is a son of Headwater who cruised home in the jumpout and the $2.10 reflects his potential ability on Tuesday.

Watch for any late market movement.

Race 2. (14:00) MC Security Maiden (1200m)

#7 – Chain @ $2.05 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Chris Waller lines up the three-year-old who finished third on debut at Benalla before running fifth at Geelong.

The son of Exosphere was 4.2 lengths behind the winner last start, but he’s good enough to turn the tables.

Getting the inside draw with Craig Williams in the saddle should see him running close.

Race 5. (15:30) Bet365 Racing Refunds BM58 (1450m)

#3 – A Pinch of Luck @ $2.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

The four-year-old mare owns two wins and three placings from 14 starts, so she has always been around the mark.

She had no luck at Geelong when finishing under four lengths behind the winner and she is good enough to turn that form around.

Barrier four is ideal and the early betting support is ideal.

Race 7. (16:30) Bet365 Odds Drift Protect BM58 (1600m)

#2 – Victory Chuckle @ $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Craig Weeding lines up the four-year-old who was too good for them at Corowa last time out.

The son of Sebring has had only five starts, so to break maidens with a 2.5-length performance is a good effort.

3kg comes off his back and punters should be confident of another winning effort.

Albury

Race 1. (14:10) Twin City Truck Centre C2 (900m)

#1 – Boss Lady Rocks @ $2.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Boss Lady Rocks scored back-to-back wins at Albury before running fifth at Randwick, so her form bodes well.

The Stubbs-trained mare by Street Boss was only 1.6 lengths behind Ten Bells in a Highway Handicap at Randwick, which followed a three-length win on this track.

Form at this level doesn’t get much better and we expect her odds to shorten considerably.

Race 3. (15:25) Purjen Couriers Maiden (1600m)

#12 – Gracious Gracie @ $2.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Mitchell Beer lines up the four-year-old mare who went awfully close at Corowa last time out.

The four-year-old mare owns four placings from eight starts, which is good enough form to compete at this level.

Getting a 3kg claimer in the saddle is ideal and she shows good barrier speed, so she should be right in the mix.

Race 6. (17:15) The Newmarket Hotel Maiden (1000m)

#3 – Incentive @ $2.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet

There has been a steady flow of money for the debutante, who finished second in a recent trial.

The three-year-old colt by Capitalist finished just behind the winner and only the wide draw is working against her.

After opening at $3.10, she has been best-backed to win.

Race 7. (17:50) Carlton Draught BM58 (1175m)

#1 – Snowbella @ $3.10 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Snowbella did well to finish fifth fresh up, which came after a trial win at Corowa.

The four-year-old daughter of So You Think has had four starts at Albury for two wins and two placings, which can’t be overlooked.

She opened at $4.80 and she has firmed into $3.10, which is a serious move. Getting 3kg off her back helps, so we’re keen on her chances.
