Warwick Farm horse racing tips & form
Race 1. (14:20) The Agency Real Estate Maiden (1000m)
#3 – Man in the Mirror @ $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Man in the Mirror comes off a trial win at Rosehill and he also showed pace when running second behind Hell I Am.
The trial form stacks up nicely and Annabel Neasham is having an excellent run, especially with her juveniles.
The early betting support is a good sign, so put him on top.
Race 2. (14:55) Vinery Maiden Plate (1300m)
#9 – Pizarro @ $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Pizarro has been beaten twice from two attempts, but the John O’Shea-trained runner is getting close.
The three-year-old gelding finished second behind Clemenceau on debut before finishing second behind Broken Hill at Canterbury, which should be good form.
He is a well-bred son of All Too Hard who gets every chance off the inside draw with James McDonald in the saddle, so put on top.
Race 3. (15:30) Bowermans BM78 (2400m)
#5 – Comme Bella Fille @ $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Most of the early money has come for Comme Bella Fille, who battled on gamely behind subsequent winner Huetor last start.
Form behind the UK import has stacked up nicely since and the O’Shea-trained stayer should enjoy the rise in distance to 2400m.
She is a staying-bred mare who we’re expecting to be fighting out the finish.
Race 4. (16:05) Kenneland BM72 (1100m)
#4 – Rule of Law @ $2.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet
The Bjorn Baker-trained four-year-old comes off a win at Warwick Farm and we like his chances of repeating the dose.
He scored by 1.5 lengths as an odds-on chance, so punters should appreciate the better odds. He represents value for a runner who owns three wins and two placings from seven starts.
Barrier three is ideal and his current odds could firm on race day.
Race 5. (16:40) XXXX BM72 (1600m)
#4 – Atlantic King @ $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
The Matthew Dunn-trained five-year-old has yet to fire in three attempts at Warwick Farm, but we’re giving him another chance.
He comes off a sixth behind Solar Apex and he should find this slightly easier. The son of More than Ready owns three wins and four placings, so he has been around the mark.
Punters get odds worth taking and he just needs a touch of luck from out wide.
Race 6. (17:15) Ranvet BM72 (1100m)
#9 – Quatenus @ $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Quatenus is a two-time winner from four starts and she wasn’t far behind them at Warwick Farm last start.
The four-year-old daughter of Exceed and Excel finished 1.7 lengths behind Authentic Jewel, but she can turn the tables under these circumstances.
It’s another premium ride for James McDonald off the inside draw, so expect her to kick up along the inside and try hold them off.
Race 7. (17:50) Tab BM72 (1300m)
#4 – Rubamos @ $4.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Rubamos went down fighting behind I Am Lethal at Randwick last start, which should be an excellent form guide.
The four-year-old son of I Am Invincible showed his ability when scoring a win fresh up at Canterbury, so a repeat of that takes him close.
After opening at $4.80 there has been solid betting support. He has firmed into $4.50 and having McDonald riding is ideal. McDonald could have a big day and he’ll be looking to end it on a high note.
