Warwick Farm horse racing tips & form

Race 1. (14:20) Harry Angel @ Darley Maiden (1100m)

#6 – Rise of the Masses @ $2.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Rise of the Masses comes off a trial win at Randwick and most of the early money has come for the favourite.

The Waterhouse/Bott-trained colt scored easily by 2.5 lengths and the progeny of Russian Revolution have made an impressive start.

Look for him to push forward and be tough to run down in the shadows of the post.

Race 2. (14:55) Vinery Maiden Handicap (1100m)

#1 – Barrichello @ $6.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Barrichello is getting close to a win and punters get value odds for the Waller-trained runner.

The four-year-old hit the line hard to finish second behind Rebel Shadow at Canterbury last start, which should be a good form guide.

Carrying 60kg doesn’t make it easy, but he has the class edge and he deserves a win for loyal punters.

Race 3. (15:30) Precise Air BM72 (1600m)

#1 – Solar Apex @ $2.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Solar Apex started his campaign with consecutive wins before meeting some tough fields. He should appreciate the drop in class after running behind Lord Ardmore and Yiyi.

The Waller-trained son of Deep Impact loves the distance with two wins from three attempts, so dropping back to the mile could turn his form around.

Tom Sherry taking 1.5kg off his back is ideal and we’re not surprised by the weight of early money coming for the favourite.

Race 4. (16:05) The Agency BM72 (1600m)

#5 – Niffler @ $2.30 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Niffler is unbeaten after two starts and we like her chances of remaining perfect on Wednesday.

The Waller-trained four-year-old scored a fresh up win at Wyong when winning by a half-length, which should strengthen her nicely for the rest of the season.

She has shown good toughness in both wins, so we’re confident, with Hugh Bowman riding, that she’ll be tough to beat again.

Race 5. (16:40) Tab BM72 (2400m)

#4 – Outlook @ $4.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet

The Brad Widdup-trained mare is in winning form after scoring two wins from her last three starts.

She comes off a heavy-track win at Newcastle where she held off a strong challenge late, so we’re expecting similar tactics.

There won’t be much between this field on the line, so we’re picking a runner that can sit handy and fight them off.

It’s another good ride for Tom Sherry, who should be positive from a wide gate.

Race 6. (17:15) 1st Justify Yearlings BM64 (1300m)

#2 – Sur La Mer @ $3.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Sur La Mer is a talented type who went close behind Jump the Broom last time out at Canterbury, and that form is excellent.

The four-year-old by Nicconi looked good when winning at Newcastle fresh up before adding two placings, so she has been right around the mark.

Tom Sherry could have a successful day and he partners with Sur La Mer, so put the pairing on top at the value price of $3.90.

Race 7. (17:50) Bowermans BM72 (1000m)

#9 – Quatenus @ $4.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Quatenus is searching for three consecutive wins after winning at Kembla Grange and Hawkesbury, which is excellent form.

The James Cummings-trained mare scored by a length last time out when showing a fine turn-of-foot, which is always handy to have.

She will likely settle back from the draw, but watch for her late.
