Warwick Farm horse racing tips & form

Race 1. (12:50) Xtravagant at Newhaven Park Maiden (1100m)

#2 – Quatum @ $3 – Bet Now

On debut for Matthew Dunn is Quatum, which has benefitted from four trials. The son of Starspangledbanner won two of those, so he has looked good to date.

One of those trial wins came at Rosehill and the form from those trials has stacked up considerably throughout the season.

He is bred to handle conditions and it should play out that way.

Race 2. (13:25) All Too Hard @ Vinery BM66 (1300m)

#5 – Celandine @ $4.80 – Bet Now

Celandine is coming off a win at Warwick Farm and she looks good enough to go back-to-back.

Trained by James Cummings, the three-year-old won by a length after leading throughout the race and showing good barrier speed is a positive quality.

The win came on a wet surface, so the heavy conditions on Wednesday shouldn’t pose any problems for the value runner.

Race 3. (14:00) Bowermans Comm Furniture BM70 (2200m)

#6 – Triskana @ $4 – Bet Now

Triskana has grown a leg recently and posted consecutive wins. The Waterhouse/Bott-trained filly is a rising stayer and she could mature into an open-class type.

The well-bred daughter of Redoute’s Choice scored by a nose at Kembla Grange before winning by a more comfortable margin last start.

$4 is a value price and her odds could firm on race day.

Race 4. (14:35) John Dasilva BM74 (1600m)

#8 – Galahad’s Quest @ $7 – Bet Now

Consistency is with Galahad’s Quest and although he isn’t winning very often, punters are getting odds worth taking.

The Joe Pride-trained four-year-old rattled off three consecutive second placings before running fourth at Canterbury last start.

He owns three placings over this distance and although yet to win on a heavy track, he handles the conditions.

Race 5. (15:10) Grunt Standing @ Yulong BM70 (1400m)

#7 – Syncline @ $2.80 – Bet Now

Kris Lees lines up the talented three-year-old that is coming off two impressive wins. He won by 5.8 lengths at Taree before backing that up with a one-length win at Hawkesbury.

The son of Stratum has drawn awkwardly in barrier 12 for this run but Hugh Bowman takes the ride. He should be able to find cover and put Syncline into a winning position.

It could pay to watch betting markets late in the race.

Race 6. (15:45) Sky Racing Active BM70 (1400m)

#5 – Carte Blanche @ $7.50 – Bet Now

The Brad Widdup-trained mare won three starts back at Wyong and followed that up with consecutive placings.

She is a daughter of Casino Prince that hasn’t been fully respected in betting markets and punters could cash in at value odds.

The $7.50 is worth taking and punters are also getting good place odds.

Race 7. (16:20) Too Darn Hot @ Darley BM70 (1200m)

#11 – Front Money @ $3.20 – Bet Now

Front Money has finished in the money in all three starts and she could notch her second career win on Wednesday.

The Team Hawkes-trained three-year-old won on debut at Newcastle before placing behind Mo’s Crown and Escaped.

She faces Escaped again here but gets a 3.5kg weight advantage. That could make all the difference and drawing barrier three is another positive.
