Warwick Farm horse racing tips & form
Race 1. (12:50) Sky Racing Active Maiden (1200m)
#7 – Smart Image @ $4.60 – Bet Now
Smart Image runs on debut for Team Snowden on the back of three trial wins. The son of Smart Missile scored all three wins at Randwick and that bodes well for his debut.
Drawing barrier two should see him right around the mark and having Kerrin McEvoy in the saddle is a bonus.
Watch for a betting push on race day.
Race 2. (13:25) Bowermans Office Furniture Maiden (1200m)
#5 – Celadine @ $3.40 – Bet Now
The James Cummings-trained three-year-old has placed in two of her three runs and she should run well here.
She finished second on debut at Hawkesbury before disappointing at Randwick. However, she went close at Kembla Grange last start and she will look to build on that.
Carrying 55kg is ideal and it is another good ride for McEvoy.
Race 3. (14:00) Headwater @ Vinery BM66 (1300m)
#2 – Stormy Rock @ $3 – Bet Now
Stormy Rock is coming off a tidy effort to score at Kembla Grange last start and that win came by 4.5 lengths.
The well-bred son of Fastnet Rock has progressive improved throughout his career and we’re also sticking with McEvoy.
He owns a placing on this track at his only attempt and that experience will do him plenty of good.
Race 4. (14:35) Harry Angel @ Darley BM70 (1400m)
#1 – Kosciusko @ $6.50 – Bet Now
The Patrick Webster-trained five-year-old is coming off a 2.5-length win where he led throughout. It was a good effort in returning to form and he could stay in form.
Rising up in weight shouldn’t do him much harm and there are no superstars in this field. He could take advantage and this race is there for the taking.
Each-way odds should be available for punters.
Race 5. (15:10) TAB BM70 (1300m)
#10 – Irish Angel @ $4.40 – Bet Now
Coming off a win at Canterbury is Irish Angel, which relished the conditions and she gets similar track conditions here.
The Chris Waller-trained filly sat just behind the pace and scored by 1.3 lengths, so she has plenty of upside and could continue winning.
Nash Rawiller rides and punters could value odds.
Race 6. (15:45) Alabama Express @ Yulong BM70 (1600m)
#1 – Decroux @ $13 – Bet Now
Jason Dreamer lines up the five-year-old that shouldn’t be far off finding his best form.
The son of Lope de Vega is a four-time winner that finished sixth at Port Macquarie last start and he usually gets better with a run under the belt.
Drawing barrier three is ideal and it is another good ride from Rawiller.
Race 7. (16:20) Magna Grecia BM70 (1100m)
#10 – De Grawin @ $5 – Bet Now
Joe Pride lines up the two-time winner that enters this race in form. The three-year-old filly by Snitzel scored by 2.5 lengths at Nowra and although country form, she looks a nice type in the making.
It backed up a one-length win at Wyong and she is unbeaten in two runs on a soft surface. Conditions should be similar here and she could mature into a city-class type.
This is easily her hardest test to date but betting will indicate the stable confidence.
