We have expert betting tips for the card this Wednesday at Warwick Farm, which features seven quality betting races.
The quality of action at Sydney midweek meetings is great and the Warwick Farm card looks no different.
Warwick Farm horse racing tips & form
Race 1. (14:00) Camera House Maiden (1400m)
#1 – Cock Match @ $4.20 – Bet Now
It won’t take long for Cock Match to score his maiden win and this looks like a winnable race.
The Waterhouse/Bott-trained three-year-old has been around the mark throughout his career with three placings from seven starts.
Drawing the inside barrier is ideal for a runner from this stable and he’s at value odds.
Race 2. (14:35) Bowerman’s Furniture BM84 (2400m)
#3 – Breakdance @ $2.05 – Bet Now
Breakdance led them a merry chase last time out and a repeat effort could be on the cards.
The Chris Waller-trained five-year-old scored by 1.3 lengths at Warwick Farm and this field isn’t any harder.
He has been a professional type throughout his career, which includes three wins and six placings from only 14 starts.
Punters are getting odds worth taking and he should give them a good sight.
Race 3. (15:10) Camera House BM76 (1400m)
#5 – Pop Girl @ $18 – Bet Now
This is a tough field but Pop Girl often represents value and that’s the case here. The four-year-old mare was a three-time winner when last in work, so she deserves respect.
She has finished in the money in eight of her 12 starts, including a win on this track in June. That win should hold her in good stead and she has shown form fresh up in the past.
Bookmakers are offering great odds and she could go overlooked.
Race 4. (15:50) The Agency Real Estate BM74 (1600m)
#1 – Tricky Gal @ $2.65 – Bet Now
Tricky Gal continues to win after scoring four wins from five starts. The Matthew Smith-trained mare is coming off an impressive win on this track.
She scored by a narrow margin but was forced to make up good ground in the straight and she did just that.
The daughter of Magic Albert looks to have a nice future at this level and there’s no real reason to jump off her back.
$2.65 is a good price.
Race 5. (16:30) Camera House Moving Pics BM70 (1000m)
#10 – Appian Way @ $4.40 – Bet Now
The Peter and Paul Snowden-trained mare is only a one-race winner but she has more ability than advertised.
She’s a quality daughter of Exceed And Excel which scored nicely to break maiden grades at Gosford in August and she went close last start.
She finished a nose behind the winner at Randwick and staying in the same grade with a lighter weight looks ideal for this.
Race 6. (17:10) Press Statement @ Vinery BM70 (1400m)
#11 – Live The Moment @ $3.70 – Bet Now
Live The Moment has been going close his last three starts and another win could be on the cards here.
The Joe Pride-trained runner scored a good win fresh up at Canberra before running three consecutive second placings.
The most recent came at Randwick when running behind Julian Rock and that form should hold up nicely against this level of opposition.
He’s knocking on the door and having Nash Rawiller in the saddle will help his cause.
Race 7. (17:50) Ribchester @ Darley BM70 (1200m)
#10 – Zoushack @ $4.40 – Bet Now
Zoushack is a capable gelding which is dropping back in class after running third at Moonee Valley last time out.
That came against some slick opposition and his form prior included back-to-back wins at Sale and Seymour.
He has never produced a bad effort from a limited career and the odds on offer are relatively generous.
