There isn’t much form in this race, so Taupe should take advantage by capping off consecutive placings with a win.

The Godolphin filly ran second at Kilmore and Moe, and those fields were stronger than what she faces in a moderate maiden field.

She should win comfortably, so take the odds.

The four-year-old son of Showtime hit the line well, which is a good sign when rising in distance from 1408m to 1500m.

#8 – Trinity’s D’oro @ $6.50

There isn’t much over this field, so Trinity’s D’oro could take advantage and post consecutive wins.

The Brian McGrath-trained mare was too good for them at Hanging Rock, and although she didn’t face much in the way of opposition, she won comfortably.

She will settle handy to the pace and give punters a good sight.
