We have NBA picks and predictions for Thursday, December 11th, which features the Suns vs. Thunder and Spurs vs. Lakers in the NBA Cup Quarterfinals.
Our picks include a best bet and NBA same game multi, and we’re looking forward to the NBA action this week.
Suns vs. Thunder Predictions
—
Best Bet
The Thunder have an amazing record this season, but the Suns are good enough to keep the score close against their Western Conference opponent.
They lost the previous meeting against the Thunder on the road by only four points, so getting a +14.5 line with NBA odds is good for punters. The Suns come off a big upset win over the Timberwolves, where they weren’t given much chance to win.
There is more consistency with the Thunder, who are enjoying a long winning streak, but with Devin Booker and Dillon Brooks in the team, anything is possible for the Suns. Our final score prediction has the Thunder winning 120-110.

Same Game Multi
If the Suns want any chance of keeping it close, Brooks needs to score. He has shown that he’s more than a defensive player this season, and his scoring numbers have improved significantly. He scored 33 points against the Lakers, and we expect him to score over 19.5 points on Thursday.
Chet Holmgren could struggle to score in the paint. The Thunder centre comes off a 25-point performance, but that followed a 15-point effort against Dallas. We have him going under the total, and he could get in early foul trouble.
They combined for 242 points in their meeting last week, so we’re backing over 227.5 points. It’s a good NBA same game multi bet inclusion.

Spurs vs. Lakers Predictions
—
Best Bet
The Spurs have Victor Wembanyama back on court, and that could be enough for them to beat the Lakers in the NBA Cup Quarterfinals.
The Frenchman scored 26 points in his most recent game, and he adds another level to the Spurs at both ends of the floor. We don’t see how the Lakers can score in the paint with the block leader there, so the Lakers need to score from the outside.
We haven’t been overly impressed with the Lakers’ attitude, and some of their senior players can often take the night off. The Spurs are young and hungry to show something, so take them to cover the +4.5 spread.

Same Game Multi
It’s a low line for Wemby, and although coming back from injury isn’t easy, he should have over 20.5 points with ease. That’s a much better NBA line than what bookmakers were offering earlier in the year, so snap up the value.
We’re including LeBron James under 17.5 points in our NBA same game multi picks. The King scored 29 points in his latest game, but he ended his 10-point streak with only eight points against the Boston Celtics.
Points should come thick and fast in the Western Conference game, and although 236.5 points is a lot to score, they combined for 234 in their most recent meeting last month.
