New Orleans Pelicans vs. Philadelphia 76ers @ Wells Fargo Centre
We won’t see Zion Williamson until 2020 if reports are to be believed. That’s good news for 76ers fans and punters alike.
The 76ers are trending positively with a record of 18-7 and they’re an incredible 13-0 at home this season.
That record will come under threat this Saturday as the capable Pelicans come to town. They’re 6-19 on the season but they have the ability to cause an upset.
New Orleans is currently riding a lengthy losing streak after starting the season well but there have been some positives. Bradley Ingram is scoring 24.9 points per game and Jrue Holiday hasn’t hit his straps yet.
Along with Zion returning, that all bodes well for a late-season. However, punters want to know if they can beat the 76ers on Saturday.
Philadelphia is emerging as one of the best in the east and when your centre is averaging 22 points per game, you’re going to be tough to beat.
The 76ers are a team that doesn’t make headlines but goes about their business in a proper matter.
They should win this game and cover the 8.5-point spread.

LA Lakers vs. Miami Heat @ AmericanAirlines Arena
This is a mouthwatering game on NBA Saturday and fans of basketball will be watching.
The 18-6 Miami Heat face off against LeBron James and the LA Lakers. This isn’t first time James has faced his old team, but it’s always a great game when he returns to Miami.
Miami has been on a tear at home this season with an 11-0 record at AmericanAirlines Arena. They’re one of only a couple of teams that boast a perfect home record.
Looking to end that home record will be the Lakers, which are travelling very well. They own an NBA-best record with 22 wins and only three losses.
The combination of LeBron James and Anthony Davis is a match made in basketball heaven and they’re showing.
Despite James not getting any younger, he’s playing some of his best basketball. That includes playing some defense, which had been sorely missing from his game.
LA owns a 12-1 away record and that’s tough to ignore. Overall, they’re the better team and knowing they can win on the road should please punters.
Bookmakers have framed a close market with LA holding the favouritism tag at $1.62. That’s a fair price for the best team in the NBA and we’re prepared to take it.
This will be a popular betting game so expect the head-to-head line to move significantly over the next few hours.

LA Clippers vs. Minnesota Timberwolves @ Target Centre
There is one concerning factor about the LA Clippers season and that’s their away record. Clippers are only 6-6 on the road, so this will be an important game for them.
LA started their season with a hiss and a roar and they’re now 19-7 overall, but six of those losses have come on the road.
For Minnesota, we were told to watch out for them by Karl Anthony Towns before the season started. We’re still watching and waiting for them to show something good this season.
They are 10-14 on what has been a disappointing season to date. There seems to be a lack of leadership within the Timberwolves franchise and the players seemingly don’t mind losing on a consistent basis.
Towns is averaging 25.9 points per game, so at least he’s pulling his weight. However, his teammates aren’t doing enough at the moment.
They enter this game riding a five-game losing streak and it has to end at some point.
Minnesota could improve enough to beat the Clippers, but this is more of a statement came for LA, as opposed to the Wolves.
Stick with the better team in what should be an interesting watch.
