NBA Betting Tips

Denver Nuggets vs Atlanta Hawks @ State Farm Arena

The Atlanta Hawks have lost four of their last five games and they’re not looking like last year’s team at all.

We weren’t impressed with Trae Young’s comments about the regular meaning nothing, but at 13-14, they’re in danger of missing the playoffs.

Denver isn’t going much better at 14-13, but the Nuggets have won their last two games over San Antonio and Washington.

Those performances hold them in good stead, and despite the likes of Will Barton and Aaron Gordon nursing injuries, they could have too much power for the struggling Hawks.

Winning road games is important for the Nuggets, who are 6-9 away from home. However, they defeated the Spurs on the road last week and a repeat of that performance takes them close.

Atlanta comes off a loss to Houston after leading by 13 points after three quarters. That’s an unforgivable loss, so its confidence levels are low.

Golden State Warriors vs Boston Celtics @ TD Garden

Steph Curry got the record for most three pointers on Wednesday and the Warriors look to continue that momentum on Saturday.

The Warriors improved to 23-5 with the 105-96 win over the New York Knicks, who were no match for the Warriors in the second half.

Despite some inconsistencies on offense, the Warriors are too slick for most teams in the NBA. Boston needs to play outstandingly well to beat the Warriors, but it got its confidence levels up against Milwaukee.

The Celtics’ win over the Bucks was much-needed. They were under pressure after losing three on the bounce to the Lakers, Clippers and Suns. Beating last season’s winners is a key win in the Eastern Conference, so the Celtics could be worth sticking with.

It’s a good spot for the Celtics, who have had more rest and the Warriors play their third consecutive road game.

Punters won’t get a better spot to bet the Celtics, who should be the home underdog.

Memphis Grizzlies vs Sacramento Kings @ Golden 1 Center

The Memphis Grizzlies are traveling nicely with three wins on the bounce and they will be tough to hold out against the Kings.

Memphis has won four of its last five, including wins over Miami, Los Angeles Lakers, Houston and Philadelphia. Those are quality wins, so the confidence levels of the Grizzlies are sky high.

The most impressive win came last time on court when beating the 76ers 126-91. That was a polished effort against a good team, so they’re heading in the right direction.

Sacramento is 11-17 and struggling after three consecutive losses. Despite having a talented team, the Kings are young and it’s showing.

De’Aaron Fox is doing his job with 21 points per game, but he’s not getting enough consistent help from the likes of Richuan Holmes and Tyrese Haliburton.

Momentum is firmly with the Grizzlies and we’re not betting against them on this occasion.
