NBA punters are loving what they’re seeing so far this season.
The best teams have shown their hand but there have been plenty of upset results to keep the underdog punters happy.
We look at Wizards vs. Raptors, Mavericks vs. 76ers and Timberwolves vs. Nuggets. Here are our Saturday NBA betting tips!
Washington Wizards vs. Toronto Raptors @ Scotiabank Arena
Toronto have been the surprise package this season but they could be without Gasol for this game.
Without him, expect Pascal Siakam to continue taking the load. He is having an incredible year and he leads the Raptors in points scored and rebounds.
Siakam is averaging an incredible 25 points per game with 8.2 rebounds. Not many experts predicted that to happen but he has flourished without Kawhi Leonard in the team.
With a 19-8 record, the Raptors are in a good position in the east and they are making their case for repeat champions.
Washington, on the other hand, are not. They are 8-17 on the season and it’s looking like another missed playoff season for them.
They lost four consecutive games before beating Detroit earlier in the week. It was a much-needed win for their confidence.
The Wizards aren’t helped by injuries, which now includes rookie Rui Hachmura. His loss will force the Wizards to find someone of lesser talent to cover.
Toronto is 11-3 at home and we’re not expecting that record to be threatened on Saturday.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Philadelphia 76ers @ Wells Fargo Centre
The Mavericks continue to battle without Luca Doncic but it’s the 76ers which need to fight back here.
They suffered their first home loss of the season to the Miami Heat on Thursday. It was a result not many saw coming, especially bookmakers who had the Heat as $3.60 underdogs.
Philadelphia looked distinctly average in the loss and it was their second consecutive defeat. They lost to the Nets 109-89 earlier in the week.
It’s an important game for Philadelphia as losing three on the bounce is never a positive. They’ll need to get past a Dallas team which has coped well with Luka.
They scored a massive upset win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday. It was the Bucks first loss from their last 18 games and Dallas did it all without Doncic.
Kristaps Porzingis stood up and played like the champion he could be. The former New York Knick hit two huge threes from the logo and that turned the game in their favour.
They are 10-2 on the road, so playing in Philadelphia shouldn’t be a problem and we think they could score an upset result.
Dallas isn’t a team to be slept on this season and just watch out when they get Doncic back. They could make a push for a top seed in the hotly-contested western conference.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Denver Nuggets @ Pepsi Centre
Denver hosts the Timberwolves on Saturday afternoon and they have been well-backed to win.
The Nuggets are 17-8 on the season after winning three consecutive games before they played the Magic on Thursday.
The best thing about their season is the home record of 11-3. They’re tough to beat at Pepsi Centre and Nikola Jokic hasn’t even got hot yet.
He has improved over the last few weeks and he now leads the team in points and rebounds.
Jokic had a massive season for the Nuggets last year but has taken his time to find rhythm this time around.
It’s a little concerning for the big man but we’re giving him time to find his feet.
Minnesota suffered another loss on Thursday, which made it six on the bounce. It has been a disappointing stretch that consisted of four away games.
They played another game on the road and that’s not going to help their chances. They went down to the Pelicans 107-99 on Thursday and it’s hard to make a case for them.
Given the talent they have, that includes Karl-Anthony Towns, it has been nothing short of dismal. There is an attitude problem with the team and Towns is now on the injured list.
Denver should be able to take advantage of this and score another home win.
