We are focusing on the Wednesday NBA games this week, as there are some terrific games on the schedule.
Heat vs. Raptors, Mavericks vs. Pelicans and Lakers vs. Nuggets are all games worth watching and certainly worth betting on.
We look at the form of all teams playing this NBA Wednesday. Here are our NBA betting tips!
Miami Heat vs. Toronto Raptors @ Scotiabank Arena
It’s fair to say the Toronto Raptors are one of the best teams playing on home court this season.
After scoring a convincing win over the Utah Jazz on Monday, they’re now 9-0 at home and that record could remain intact against the Heat.
That’s not to say the Heat aren’t able to cause an upset on Wednesday. Miami is 15-5 on the season after beating Brooklyn on the road last Monday.
The addition of Jimmy Butler has given them more consistency and his 18.7 points per game don’t go astray either.
Recent losses have come to the likes of the 76ers and Rockets, but they still performed well during those games.
However, the 15-4 Raptors are doing everything in their power to become repeat NBA champions this season. They haven’t dwelled on the loss of Kawhi Leonard, but they have come out the other side stronger.
It’s certainly interesting to watch and given their amazing record at Scotiabank Arena, we’ll stick with them here.

Dallas Mavericks vs. New Orleans Pelicans @ Smoothie King Centre
The Pelicans are still without Zion Williamson, but they are still competitive in the NBA this season.
Zion won’t be making for a few more weeks, but the Pelicans’ 6-13 record isn’t as bad as many experts had predicted.
They play better at home with a 4-5 record and they have posted some good wins throughout the year. However, they have dropped six on the bounce with back-to-back losses to the OKC Thunder.
It’s a disappointing stretch for the Pelicans which were doing so well to keep in touch before the return of Zion.
For Dallas, they’re travelling well at 13-6 after beating the LA Lakers on Monday. It was the Lakers third defeat of the season and Dallas were terrific on the road.
Luca Doncic is averaging an incredible 30.8 points per game and he’s close to averaging a triple double. He has 9.9 rebounds and 9.6 assists per game, which are Russell Westbrook-like numbers.
Doncic is single-handedly taking this Dallas team on his back. It’s hard not to root for them, given the way they play basketball.
Dallas is going to prove tough to beat this Wednesday. Slowing down Doncic has been seemingly impossible and he’s getting to the foul line with good frequency as well.
It’s another road game for the Mavericks, but they should be able to beat the Zion-less Pelicans.

LA Lakers vs. Denver Nuggets @ Pepsi Centre
This is shaping up to be an almighty battle between two of the best teams in the West.
The Lakers dropped only their third game of the season when losing to the Dallas Mavericks on Monday. It was a 14-point loss for the Lakers, which were riding a lengthy winning streak coming into that game.
Denver also dropped their most recent game, but there’s came to the Sacramento Kings in overtime. It wasn’t a good performance from Denver, but getting back on their home floor will help.
They are 8-2 at home and that’s going to be countered by the 8-1 away record for the Lakers.
Anthony Davis leads the Lakers with 26.1 points per game and LeBron James has 11 assists per game.
For Denver, it’s more of a team effort. Jamal Murray is the team leader in points with 18.5 but Nikola Jokic is a steady scoring force.
This team could come down to which team plays better defense. The edge in that department goes to the Denver Nuggets, which allows only 101.8 points per game.
Scoring a home win over the Lakers would send a statement to the other western conference teams. That’s what’s on the line for Denver this Wednesday.
We’re expecting the Nugget to be paying good odds with bookmakers.
