The stars are out in force this Wednesday as we look at the three best NBA games on the schedule.
It’s East vs. West as the 76ers take on the Clippers and the Rockets square off against the Boston Celtics.
We also look at the highly-anticipated Trail Blazers vs. Pelicans game, which should create plenty of highlight moments. Here are our NBA betting tips!
NBA Betting Tips
LA Clippers vs. Philadelphia 76ers @ Wells Fargo Centre
Recent form for both the Clippers and 76ers has been fair, but expect a high-quality game this Wednesday.
The 76ers looked awful during their four-game road trip, losing all four games and none of the results were close.
Losses came to the Hawks, Celtics, Heat, and Bucks. They rebounded with a home win against the Grizzlies, but it’s hardly inspiring from the 76ers.
However, they are 23-2 at home and that’s the big statistic for this game. Despite being absolutely awful on the road, they are tough to beat at Wells Fargo Centre.
The 23-2 record is the best home record in the NBA and that’s what the Clippers are up against here. However, the Clippers are one of the best teams in the league.
They scored three consecutive wins before losing to the Timberwolves and although that loss was poor, they usually rebound from losses.
It was only their 16th loss on the season and a lot depends on the health of Kawhi Leonard. If he’s fit and ready to go, the Clippers will be hard to hold out.
With that being said, statistics are vital in the NBA and it’s tough to look past the home record of Philadelphia.

Portland Trail Blazers vs. New Orleans Pelicans @ Smoothie King Centre
The hot run of the Portland Trail Blazers has tapered off a touch of late. They posted losses to the Nuggets and Jazz, having been able to beat the Lakers the week prior.
While the scoring ability of Damian Lillard remains scintillating, the Blazers are having trouble finding a secondary scorer. He is averaging just under 30 points per game but there isn’t much else in terms of offense.
Camelo Anthony has been good at times but the former New York Knick is largely inconsistent. Hasan Whiteside offers plenty of rebounds but not a lot of inside scoring.
One player that does score in the paint is Zion Williamson for the New Orleans Pelicans. They have improved nicely since he came into the league.
They enter this game having scored back-to-back wins over the Bulls and an upset win against Indiana in Indiana.
Returning home is going to help their chances and the likes of Bradley Ingram and Williamson can score consistently, they could make a run towards the playoffs.
We’re expecting bookmakers to have a close market, but ultimately, the Pelicans should come away with the victory.

Boston Celtics vs. Houston Rockets @ Toyota Centre
Boston enters this game having scored a tough comeback win over the Thunder, their seventh consecutive win.
The Celtics are travelling nicely at 37-15 and although playing consecutive games on the road is never easy, it’s hard to see any faults in their squad.
Jayson Taytum is lights out this season, scoring 22.1 points per game and having the ball on a string most times. He’s getting scoring help from Kemba Walker and most of the team chips in on the offensive front.
Standing in their way are the Houston Rockets, which turned their bad form around with four consecutive wins. However, that good work was ruined by a loss to the lowly Phoenix Suns.
The scoring average from James Harden has dipped but he’s still putting up an average of 35.3 points per game, so it’s hard to lay the fault on him.
Not much is expected to be between these teams. Houston is tough to trust and the Boston Celtics are firing on all cylinders.
For that reason, we’re going for a Celtics win. Punters should be getting good odds for a Boston victory.
