NBA Betting Tips

Sacramento Kings vs. Brooklyn Nets @ Barclays Center

The Brooklyn Nets come off a strong win over the Los Angeles Clippers and their momentum could continue on Wednesday.

They scored a gritty 112-108 win on the road and they now return after a lengthy road trip, which included wins over the Suns, Lakers, Clippers and the Kings.

Sacramento is looking to avenge its 136-125 loss last week and despite playing on the road, it’s capable of producing an upset.

The Kings are facing tough times after losing their last seven games, but there is plenty of improvement to come. They have the likes of De’Aaron Fox and Richaun Holmes, who will get better with more experience.

Kevin Durant is still out for the Nets, but with James Harden and Kyrie Irving playing lights out, they could be tough to slow down.

The biggest improvement has come from Irving, who has been in electric shooting form. He hasn’t lost any ability to land a pull-up shot, and his silky-smooth handling skills make it tough for the opposing defence.

Sacramento is good enough to keep this game close, but punters should side with Brooklyn.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Toronto Raptors @ Amalie Arena

Toronto has turned its season around and now holds a 16-15 record following four consecutive wins.

The 2018/2019 NBA champions scored wins over Milwaukee, Minnesota and Philadelphia, and it now faces the 76ers for a second time in three days.

Philadelphia has been anything but great over the last few weeks. The 76ers lost to Phoenix, Utah and Toronto, with their only wins coming against the Bulls and Rockets.

Their lead in the Eastern Conference is dwindling and they are just holding on. We have said it before, but Ben Simmons needs to be more consistent, but Philadelphia doesn’t have a wealth of shooters on the squad.

Take out Joel Embiid and his 30.3 points per game and the 76ers are offensively inept, which doesn’t bode well for the playoffs.

Toronto is still without Kyle Lowry, but given the confidence the Raptors now have, they should be tough to stop on Wednesday.

Punters should get a value price for Toronto to add another win to its winning streak.

Portland Trail Blazers vs. Denver Nuggets @ Ball Arena

Portland’s winning run came to an end against Washington last week, but we wouldn’t discount them on one performance.

After an inconspicuous start to the season, the Trail Blazers have battled their way to an 18-11 record and a win over Denver would look good on the record.

Denver has shown glimpses of being a top-level team, but three losses from its last four games is cause for concern. Losses to Boston, Washington and Atlanta all came on the road, so returning home could work magic.

One player not letting down his team is Nikola Jokic, who is averaging 26.6 points, 11.1 rebounds and 8.5 assists per game. He is shooting lights out at 56.4 percent and teams are finding him tough to stop.

It hasn’t been translating into success for the team, but with Gary Harris and Paul Millsap on the sidelines, that’s not too surprising.

There isn’t much between these teams, but given the recent form of the Trail Blazers, we’re giving them the slight edge. If Damian Lillard can continue with his 30 points per game average, the Trail Blazers have enough talent to win on the road.
