With the NFL season having come to a close, all eyes are now firmly on the NBA.
We look at all four games on the NBA Wednesday card this week, which includes Bucks vs. Pelicans, Hornets vs. Rockets, Trail Blazers vs. Nuggets, and Spurs vs. Lakers.
All four games present bettors with good opportunities to find value. Here are our NBA betting tips!
NBA Betting Tips
Milwaukee Bucks vs. New Orleans Pelicans @ Smoothie King Centre
Since the injection of Zion Williamson into the NBA, the Pelicans have suddenly become a team to watch.
They scored three straight wins before losing to the Houston Rockets on Monday, which is no blight on their record.
However, it’s about to get harder as they face the impressive Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday. The Bucks are 42-7 on the season and bounced back nicely after losing to the Nuggets last week.
Milwaukee has a good winning record on the road (19-4), which is why they’re the favourites to win the east this season.
New Orleans will need to defend out of their skin to beat the Bucks and we’re not sure if they have the ability. Zion is a liability in playing cover defense, so the Bucks could exploit that.

Charlotte Hornets vs. Houston Rockets @ Toyota Centre
Punters have had a tough time trusting the Houston Rockets of late. They have won their last two games, but looked shaky even in victory.
To make matters worse, Russell Westbrook is currently on the injured list. It could all mount up for the Rockets, or, they could respond and go on a long winning streak.
That’s something the Hornets wish they could do after dropping four of their last five games. The win came over the New York Knicks, which isn’t saying much.
They are 16-33 on the season and when Terry Rozier is your leading scorer with 18 points per game, you have a problem.
Despite Westbrook likely sitting on the sidelines for this game, Houston should be too good for the visitors.
Bookmakers should see it that way, too.

Portland Trail Blazers vs. Denver Nuggets @ Pepsi Centre
It comes as no surprise to see the Portland Trail Blazers go on a winning streak with the way Damian Lillard has been playing.
He has averaged 48.8 points per game over his last six games, and he’s a man on fire. His improved play has resulted in a four-game winning streak for Portland.
Wins over the Pacers, Rockets, Lakers, and Jazz have rocketed the Trail Blazers back up the rankings. Despite sitting at 23-27, they’re now a threat coming into the middle stages of the season.
Denver has been solid this season but they have looked anything but impressive of late. They lost to Memphis and Detroit last week, which won’t please their fans.
However, they did throw in a win over the Bucks in there, so it’s not all bad for the western conference team.
There won’t be much between them, but we’re going with the firing Trail Blazers.

San Antonio Spurs vs. LA Lakers @ STAPLES Centre
The Lakers need a boost after losing to Portland on Saturday and beating the Spurs could be what they need.
Los Angeles is still in recovery mode after the death of Kobe Bryant but they’ll need to start focusing on basketball before too long.
Having dropped six games on their home floor already, the Lakers need to establish STAPLES Centre as a fortress, otherwise visiting teams like the Spurs won’t be afraid.
San Antonio certainly isn’t a team that fears opponents. However, they lack cohesion and Demar Derozan isn’t quite living up to expectations.
On paper, the Lakers should be too good for the Spurs but it could be a closely-fought contest over the concluding stages.
Bookies should have the Lakers in the $1.30 range. That’s not great value, but good enough to include in your NBA Wednesday multibet.
