NBA Betting Tips
Atlanta Hawks vs. Boston Celtics @ TD Garden
This season might be a foregone conclusion for the Atlanta Hawks but they were real winners at the trade deadline.
The new players will take some time to get on court but it’s a good sign of things to come for the Hawks, which has a potent young squad.
It’s led by Trae Young, who is a starting All Star. He’s averaging 29.3 points per game and his form from college is just as good in the NBA.
They will be tested against the Boston Celtics on Saturday. Boston is 35-15 and looking like the second-best team in the east, behind only the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Celtics are nursing some injuries but with a home record of 21-5, we’re not surprised to see most of the money come for the C’s.
They’re riding a lengthy winning streak, which includes a recent 123-115 win over these Atlanta Hawks.
Playing at home should see that result lengthen out a touch.

Toronto Raptors vs. Indiana Pacers @ Bankers Life Fieldhouse
An eastern conference battle is on show for punters as the Raptors take on the Pacers.
The Pacers are exceeding expectations with a 31-20 record and they are tough to beat at home. They await the Raptors, which have been creating history this season.
At 37-14, it’s the best start to a Raptors season and they’re doing it without Kawhi Leonard. Most experts thought their championship run last season was on the back of Leonard, but this Raptors team can play.
Pascal Siakam is a bonafide superstar. He’s averaging 23.7 points per game and he’s outscoring teammate Kyle Lowry, who was expected to be the top scorer.
The Raptors have a 18-7 record on the road and that’s not easy to ignore. They are playing a tough team at home, but they have shown ability to beat quality teams on the road.
There won’t be much between these two teams in the betting. Bookmakers will likely have the Pacers as slight favourites, but we’re picking the Raptors.
They will want to continue their momentum heading into the All Star break and they should be competitive.

Portland Trail Blazers vs. Utah Jazz @ Vivint Smart Home Arena
It’s fair to say that Damian Lillard is the hottest scoring in the NBA right now. He’s averaging almost 50 points over the last couple of weeks, which is not easy to do.
He has been making buckets from all over the court and his increased productivity has been good for the Trail Blazers.
They are now in the hunt at 23-28 and recent wins over Houston and the Lakers have showed that they can beat the good teams.
They face off against the Utah Jazz, who they beat last week 124-107. They were big underdogs for that game and never should have been.
Utah are 32-18 but they’re in shocking form. They have lost their last five games, with losses coming to the likes of Houston, San Antonio, Denver, and Portland.
We’re not sure what’s going wrong with the Jazz, as they looked like a top team prior to the losing streak. However, they’re capable of turning it all around and in a quick fashion.
Punters will need to muscle up and back the Jazz on faith. We like what the Portland Trail Blazers are doing at the moment, but Utah has lost only five games at home.
Stick with the Jazz and you might get value odds.
