NBA Betting Tips

Orlando Magic vs. Boston Celtics @ TD Garden

Orlando started its season on fire, but it’s now looking to end a three-game skid. The Magic haven’t been helped by a raft of players on the sidelines, which is again the case.

Michael Carter-Williams, Evan Fouriner, and Markelle Fultz will miss the game for the Magic. However, Boston has some of their stars missing as well.

Jayson Tatum and Tristan Thompson are set to miss the game, but the Celtics’ squad looks better than Orlando’s.

The Celtics can still call on Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart, who have been playing well this season. Brown, in particular, has shown why he’s one of the best two-way players in the game.

Boston rides a four-game winning streak after beating Washington, Miami, Detroit, and Toronto. We expect the home team to make it five on the bounce.

Bookmakers won’t release odds for Magic vs. Celtics until Saturday morning, but the Celtics should be favoured to win, and they should cover the spread.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Milwaukee Bucks @ Fiserv Forum

The Mavericks didn’t start the season as well as they have hoped, but things are turning around.

Dallas has won its last four games following a shock loss to Chicago, including wins over Houston, Denver, Orlando, and Charlotte.

Three of those wins came on the road, so facing the Bucks won’t be a daunting task. However, the Bucks are in fine form themselves.

Milwaukee has won four of its last five games, with the only loss coming to Utah. It bounced back with wins over Cleveland, Orlando, and Detroit.

Giannis Antetokounpo is playing great basketball with 26.2 points per game, and he also has 10.1 rebounds per game. He is getting help from Khris Middleton, who provides the Greek Freak with good scoring support.

Luka Doncic is a one-man wrecking crew for the Mavericks. The MVP candidate is close to averaging a triple-double after notching 27.4 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game.

Punters should expect a close contest on Saturday, but which team has the edge at Fiserv Stadium? We give a slight advantage to Milwaukee, who has a superior record of 8-4.

Defending Giannis can seem impossible at times, and Dallas doesn’t have a lock-down defender. The Bucks score 120.9 points per game, which is 11 more per game than Dallas.

Expect bookmakers to have the home team as $1.40-$1.50 favourites.

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Sacramento Kings @ Golden 1 Center

Sacramento looked set to score back-to-back wins on Thursday, but a second-half collapse became a learning experience instead.

The Kings defeated Indiana 127-122 earlier in the week before holding a significant lead over Portland. However, they quickly gave it up and it was a disappointing loss.

Los Angeles has produced consecutive wins over Chicago and New Orleans. The win over the Pelicans on Thursday was a tidy effort, and they shot tremendously from the three-point line.

Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are playing well as a duo, and they are getting quality help from the role players. Serge Ibaka is chiming in with 6.8 boards per game, and he spreads out the floor.

Sacramento also has exciting players, including DeAaron Fox. He has a great outside shot, and if he gets help from Buddy Hield, the Kings can pile on the points.

However, there is a glaring problem for the Kings, and it comes on the defensive end. They allow 121.1 points per game, which is one of the worst defensive records in the NBA.

We are surprised the Kings have a record of 5-6, so if they want to compete in the NBA, they’ll need to show up on defence.

Los Angeles is a professional unit that has too many guns for this Sacramento team. They are on the road, but it shouldn’t matter on Saturday.
