NBA Betting Tips

Washington Wizards vs. Boston Celtics @ TD Garden

The Wizards haven’t been able to gain any traction in the NBA this season, but they should be given time to gel as a team.

Bradley Beal is coming off an incredible 60-point game against Philadelphia, but it wasn’t enough as the Wizards went down 141-136. However, it was a good sign for Beal, who is now averaging 34.3 points per game.

Russell Westbrook is doing his thing and averaging 10.7 rebounds per game and 11.8 assists, but Washington only owns a 2-6 record. Those wins came last week in consecutive games and more is needed from Westbrook.

Boston has rattled off three consecutive wins after holding off Miami on Thursday. The 107-105 win was tough and Jayson Tatum was lights out.

He is a bona fide superstar for the Celtics and along with Jaylen Brown, they make for one of the best back-court duos in the NBA.

Boston has the better team and although Washington could get hot at any moment, they are too inconsistent to back with any confidence.

Orlando Magic vs. Houston Rockets @ Toyota Center

We had worries about the passion behind Houston this season and after starting 2-4, those fears have come true.

James Harden clearly doesn’t want to play for the organisation and it’s hurting them. He is averaging 33 points per game, but there is a distinct lack of team play across the board.

He doesn’t have the same weapons on offence as he used to, so Harden feels like he needs to do everything himself. That’s not a recipe for success and something needs to change for Houston.

They enter this game against Orlando with consecutive losses to Dallas and Indiana. They scored 100 and 107 points in those two games, which won’t win many games this season.

Orlando has made an impressive start to their season with a record of 6-2, including a 3-0 away record. They are coming off consecutive wins over Cleveland, where the defence allowed only 83 and 94 points respectively.

It is a team game for the Magic and we have been impressed with the improvement of former #1 draft pick, Markelle Fultz. The point guard has improved his shooting and his assist numbers read well.

Most of the early betting movement has come for the Rockets at home, which isn’t surprising. They are a public-heavy team that always attracts attention, but the value could be with Orlando.

It mightn’t be long before Houston cracks under the pressure, and Orlando could keep the ball rolling in their court.

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors @ Chase Center

Steph Curry exploded with 62 points against the Portland Trail Blazers last week and that has seemingly spurred his team on this season.

The Warriors are 4-4 despite Curry being the only top-level player on the team. They scored back-to-back wins over Portland and Sacramento before losing to the Clippers earlier this week.

Golden State plays their second consecutive game against the Clippers and they have a chance of reversing the 108-101 loss.

Los Angeles is 6-3 and 4-1 on the road. They were too good for Golden State last time out, but it wasn’t the most comprehensive performance.

Kawhi Leonard is holding back and letting Paul George do a lot of the damage, but they will need Leonard to start scoring at a better clip.

There is no doubt the Clippers have the better team on paper and Golden State is in a rebuilding phase, especially with Klay Thompson on the sidelines. However, the Warriors have the scoring power to beat any team.

Thanks to Curry, the Warriors put up 137 points in consecutive games and that’s not easy to do. They were held to 101 against LA last time, but they are ready to explode again.

Punters will get value odds for Golden State and they are worth backing on Saturday.
