NBA Betting Tips
Brooklyn Nets vs Milwaukee Bucks @ Fiserv Forum
The Brooklyn Nets couldn’t have been more impressive in Game 2, scoring a 39-point victory with James Harden sitting on the sidelines.
Losing Harden doesn’t have too much of an impact on a team that features Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, so bookmakers weren’t smart to adjust the lines so dramatically.
They had the Nets as home underdogs despite winning Game 1 by eight points with Harden. Punters took advantage and the Nets are paying handsome odds once again.
They are paying $2.35 to take a 3-0 lead over the Bucks, who are falling into the same traps which has been their downfall in recent seasons. Unless Giannis Antetokounmpo goes for 35-40 points, they struggle to win, especially come playoff time.
No Bucks player scored more than 18 points on Monday, which is a concerning statistic. It was a poor showing from the Greek Freak, Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez in particular, but that was likely due to Brooklyn’s red-hot start.
The Nets aren’t a team that warms into the game. They come out humming and the Bucks will need to play better defence, otherwise history could repeat.
Desperation is evident with the Bucks and we wouldn’t touch the $1.60. There is no value in that price and we’re happy to take a team with two superstars at the better price.
Take the Brooklyn Nets to send shockwaves across Milwaukee.

Los Angeles Clippers vs Utah Jazz @ Vivint Smart Home Arena
Despite being down at the half in Game 1 against the Clippers, the Utah Jazz produced a huge second-half performance to score a comfortable win.
It was a big effort considering they had no Mike Conley, but Donovan Mitchell was outstanding and his contribution to this team is incredible.
He’s one of the NBA’s brightest stars and he doesn’t get the recognition he deserves. That’s due to his location, but Mitchell has already had an impact on the series and that could continue on Friday.
He was able to make three-point shots at the right time to give the Jazz momentum. After the Clippers closed the gap to five points in the fourth quarter, he made a timely three with four minutes remaining.
Utah now looks to Game 2 and it could get Conley back, which could be a huge help. It would take some of the ball handling pressure off Mitchell and provide the Jazz with a secondary scoring option. That means the Clippers defence needs to leave someone open on the wing, which is where the Jazz thrive.
Los Angeles looked to have the game in control but they came out flat in the second half. It was disappointing, especially from Paul George, but they’re too good to count out based on one performance. We saw that in the Dallas series, so we expect them to play for the full 48 minutes.
Kawhi Leonard could also do with a better game and he needs to control the flow better. He is unselfish at times, which is a detriment to his team. When Leonard takes over, the Clippers are hard to stop, but we haven’t seen it often enough.
Take the Utah Jazz to take a 2-0 series lead with home court advantage.
