We have been on the Spurs so far throughout this series, but after going 0-2 at home, it’s time to switch to the Knicks, who are paying better than expected.

Despite having not lost a game during the entire NBA playoffs, the Knicks are only –2.5 favourites to win Game 3. We priced them at $1.42 after stealing Game 1 and 2 on the road, and they have proven to be more clutch than the Spurs.

It wasn’t apparent for most of the playoffs, but the Spurs have some growing to do. They’re a young team, and whilst they are exciting to watch then they play well, they don’t have the experience needed to win an NBA Championship.

Everything points towards a Knicks win on Tuesday, and Madison Square Garden will be rocking. Winning in New York is tough at the best of times, let alone with the crowd riding every bucket as the Knicks have a 2-0 lead.

This is a good betting opportunity for punters, and although the Spurs will fire shots, Jalen Brunson and the Knicks are too good on defence for the upset to occur.

Jalen Brunson has come up clutch for the Knicks, and although he scored only 20 points in Game 2, he knows when his team needs buckets. He has 50 points in the NBA Finals so far, and we have him scoring over 26.5 points at MSG.

We backed De’Aaron Fox over 14.5 points in Game 2, and he didn’t disappoint when dropping 20. However, he continues to play with an ankle injury, and he was noticeably limping at times throughout the game. That’s not a good sign, and he could struggle to get open shots against a tough Knicks defence.

The under is 2-0, with 200 and 209 points scored so far. Bookmakers continue to have the line around the 214-215 mark, but with the Knicks defence stepping up in a big way, we have the Spurs scoring just over 100 points, which should be enough to cash the under.
