The NBA finals aren’t far away and it’s starting to heat up. We look at the best NBA games this Wednesday, which includes Celtics vs. Pacers, Mavericks vs. Spurs, and Clippers vs. Warriors. Here are our NBA betting tips!
NBA Betting Tips
Boston Celtics vs. Indiana Pacers @ Bankers Life Fieldhouse
The Boston Celtics are on a skid at the moment, after dropping four of their last five games. Injuries haven’t helped their chances, with Jaylen Brown still out, but getting Kemba Walker back will help.
The only recent win for the Celtics game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Losses have come to Houston, Brooklyn, Utah, and OKC, so it has been a tough stretch for the eastern conference title contenders.
Boston will need to play much better against the pesky Pacers on Wednesday, which boast a 21-10 record at home, and have been playing much better than Boston.
Indiana has won four of its last five, including statement wins over Dallas and San Antonio. The only loss came to the Bucks, but that’s to be expected.
All four of those wins came on the road, so it was a very successful road trip for the Pacers. Returning home to Bankers Life Fieldhouse will make them harder to beat, but a lot depends on the health of Malcolm Brogdon. He exited the game against Milwaukee with an injury, but they have copped well without him since.
A close game is expected and we’re giving the slight edge to the home side.

Dallas Mavericks vs. San Antonio Spurs @ AT&T Centre
Consistency has been tough for both teams this season, but the Dallas Mavericks remain in the hunt for the playoffs. They hold a 39-26 record, which isn’t quite where they thought they would be given their impressive start to the season.
Dallas has steadily fallen down the western conference standings, with recent losses coming to Indiana and Chicago. Now that both superstars are on the court, Kristaps Porzingis and Luka Doncic, there are no excuses for Dallas.
San Antonio are 26-36 on a season that hasn’t got traction. They’re a big danger of missing the playoffs, and one player that needs to step up is DeMar DeRozan. The former Toronto Raptor hasn’t scored at a rate of some of the best NBA players, and he was once considered one of them.
Momentum is key for both teams going forward and we think Dallas will start coming into form. They have a good team and could give the likes of the Lakers and Clippers some problems in the playoffs.
Dallas needs their confidence back and it could come with a big win over their Texas rivals.

LA Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors @ Chase Centre
It’s unsure if Steph Curry will suit up for the Golden State Warriors, but we’re hoping to see him in action. The NBA star returned from a lengthy injury-enforced break against the Toronto Raptors, but was immediately sidelined by the flu.
However, that didn’t stop the Warriors from posting a win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday. The 118-114 comeback win was a good moral booster for the team, which has put a wash on this season.
They face the Clippers this Wednesday, and that’s no easy contest. The Clips are coming off a loss to the Lakers, where they looked sluggish in the second half. However, back-to-back losses isn’t something this team makes a habit of.
LA is looking to catch the Lakers at the top of the western conference, but regardless of if they finish first or second, the western conference finals could be played at STAPLES centre.
The Clippers are better prepared for this game and they should take it comfortably.
