The playoffs are getting closer and it’s an important part of the season for most teams. NBA action continues this Wednesday as we have tips for three of the best games.
We look at the Nets vs. Celtics, Clippers vs. Thunder, and 76ers vs. Lakers. Here are our NBA betting tips!
NBA Betting Tips
Brooklyn Nets vs. Boston Celtics @ TD Garden
The Boston Celtics are looking to score their first win over the Brooklyn Nets this season, after going 0-2. However, they are 11-3 in recent history, so they’ll be heartened by that statistic.
This could have been a great matchup with Kyrie Irving playing but he’s waiting another game to make his return from injury. Celtics’ point guard Kemba Walker is also on the injured list, but that hasn’t been stopping Boston’s good run.
Boston scored consecutive wins over western conference teams; beating Portland and Utah. They lost to the Rockets on Sunday, but they lost no admirers. It was an overtime loss and they will be buoyed by that effort.
As for the Nets, they’re going backwards after starting the season well. Four consecutive losses coming into this game isn’t where they want to be, and they’re holding out for Irving and KD to come back.
The Celtics are 35-20-2 against the spread this season and we’re expecting them to cover the spread this Wednesday afternoon.

LA Clippers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder @ Chesapeake Energy Arena
An all-western conference showdown is happening in Oklahoma City as the Thunder hosts the Clippers on Wednesday.
A bet of $1 million has been placed on the Clippers to win the west this season, but looking to dent their chances are the 37-23 Thunder. A surprise this season, the Thunder are playing good team basketball and their only recent loss came to the Milwaukee Bucks.
In saying that, it was a 133-86 loss, which could be tough to bounce back from. Looking to add another loss to the record are the 41-19 Clippers, which have won four straight after dropping a game to the Kings.
Their offensive production has picked up considerably after Kawhi Leonard called out his team. With a points per game average of 116.2, the Clippers have picked that up to post totals of 124, 132, and 136 over the last four games. They did have to fight against Philadelphia without their two stars, but a win is a win.
Winning on the road has been much harder for the Clippers, who are 16-13 away from home. It could be a good chance for the Thunder to make a statement against one of the western conference front runners.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. LA Lakers @ STAPLES Centre
The Lakers prevailed over Zion Williamson and the Pelicans on Monday, and they’ll look to post another high-profile win over the 76ers. LeBron and the Lakers did what they needed to do against the Pelicans, even without Anthony Davis.
It’s unsure if Davis will suit up for this game, but either way, the Lakers could take advantage of the injured 76ers. Philadelphia is missing Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid, yet they put up a gallant effort against the Clippers on Sunday.
The 136-130 loss was a credit to their depth and they should take plenty of heart from that. However, with an away record of 9-22 and key players missing, it’s tough to get excited about the 76ers in this situation.
We’re expecting the Lakers to come out guns blazing and record their 47th win of the season. They are 21-7 at home and with LeBron playing well, they should be too good and cover whatever spread bookmakers release.
