The Pistons choked away the series lead on Thursday when blowing a nine-point lead with three minutes to go. They went five minutes without scoring, including overtime, and it cost them a great chance to close out the series.

However, despite showing a lack of clutch play, we have them rebounding to beat the Cavaliers on the road. They have the pieces needed to win Game 6, and they just need to knock down shots when it counts.

Momentum is with the Cavaliers, who are $1.60 favourites, but the top seed could fight back and force a Game 7 next week.

Cade Cunningham might have been poor down the stretch on Thursday, but he had a monster game. The Pistons need him to deliver the goods, so we’re including him in our NBA SGM picks for Game 6.

Jalen Duren admitted that he has struggled to score during the playoffs, and now is the best time to regain his form. The line is low at 10.5, and we expect Cunningham to get him involved in the offence early on.

Over 210.5 is a good multi bet inclusion after combining for 230 points in Game 5.

Spurs vs. Timberwolves Best Bet

The Timberwolves have a good recent record at home against the Spurs, but we’re backing the Spurs to close out the series on the road.

Victor Wembanyama barely played Game 4 when getting ejected, and he bounced back with a 27-point performance to win Game 5 for the Spurs, who scored a convincing 126-97 win at home. We expect the Spurs to play just as well on the road.

The –5.5 line is fair from bookmakers, and given the number of scorers the Spurs have, we can’t see the Timberwolves keeping up. They don’t have the depth, and we see the Spurs winning and preparing to play the Thunder in the West Finals.

Spurs vs. Timberwolves SGM

Spurs –5.5, Victor Wembanyama Over 27.5 Points, Anthony Edwards Under 26.5 Points, Over 218.5 Points @ $8.50

It’s hard to slow down Wembanyama, and the only way he’s scoring a low total is by getting ejected. The Spurs big man pays $2 to score over 27.5 points, we don’t see the Timberwolves slowing him down on Saturday.

Anthony Edwards had only 20 points in Game 5, and he needs to step up under pressure. He hasn’t been the best in pressure games over the last few years, so under 26.5 points is worth including in NBA SGM picks.

Our final score predictions have the Spurs winning 118-108, so the over is worth including to add value.
