The Cavaliers looked to have run out of ideas late in Game 3, which wasn’t a good sign, and the defence of James Harden has been noticeable. The Knicks are picking on Harden, and when he doesn’t try to defend, the Knicks can put up big totals.

There is also concern surrounding the fitness of Donovan Mitchell. He’s clearly not 100%, despite telling the media that he’s fine, and that’s a big problem. If their two best players aren’t contributing, they have no chance of beating the red-hot Knicks.

Bookmakers have the line at only –2.5 because the Knicks are on the road, but they’re wanting to wrap up the series and get rested before taking on either the Spurs or Thunder in the NBA Finals, who are likely to go seven games.

Mitchell doesn’t have the same lift as usual, and it’s affecting his ability to drive to the rim. He constantly drives and kicks the ball out to a three-point shooter instead of making a layup, and that’s a cause for concern. We have Mitchell playing lower minutes than usual, and if the Knicks have a sizable lead, he’ll likely sit for most of the fourth quarter.

Jalen Brunson isn’t struggling after dropping 30 points in Game 3. He is their leading scorer, and he should want to control the tempo of the game with the ball in his hands. We have Brunson scoring over 26.5 points, so include him in NBA SGM picks.

Our final NBA multi bet pick is under 217.5, and we’re including it because of Cleveland’s offence. They have had totals of 108, 93, and 104 points, and if they’re anywhere near that, the under should cash for punters.
