It has been an interesting start to the season for the Bucks, who are 2-2 following a loss to the Toronto Raptors.
The 130-111 performance was disappointing considering their roster, but now Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard are game-time decisions.
It’s always hard to know which players will be taking to the court, but as the betting suggests, the Bucks should be at full strength.
They are a $1.35 favourite to beat the Knicks, who are 2-3 following a loss to Cleveland. They scored only 89 points in the 95-89 loss, and a lack of scoring has always been problematic for the Knicks.
We’re not sure they have enough scoring prowess to keep up with the Bucks, so we’re taking the home side to win and cover the –6.5 spread.

The Oklahoma City Thunder had a 22-point lead wiped away by the Pelicans on Thursday, which was painful to watch.
Everything was going smoothly, but when the wheels fell off, they didn’t have any cohesion. We’re putting it down to the Thunder being the youngest team, averaging just over 24 years old.
That lack of experience could make life tough against the Warriors, especially with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander picking up a leg injury.
We don’t expect to see him on the court, which makes the $1.56 for Golden State look like a steal.
The Warriors are 4-1 and 3-0 on the road. They are starting to click, and we can’t see the –3.5 line lasting too much longer with bookmakers.
It has been well-backed since markets opened, so the line will move on game day.

The Nuggets suffered their first loss of the season against Minnesota, and it was bound to come sooner or later.

Dallas has yet to suffer a defeat, and that’s because Luka Doncic has been playing well. He averages 33.8 points per game, and they have scored 125 points or more in four of their last five games.
Denver has scored over 125 only once this season, and they come off an 89-point effort against the Timberwolves. That’s our big concern with the $1.35 favourites, and there is better value with the visitors.
We’re backing the Mavericks +6.5, which is a generous line. Doncic and Kyrie Irving are good enough to beat any team by themselves.
