We have NBA picks and predictions for Tuesday, October 28th, which features the Cavaliers vs. Pistons, Magic vs. 76ers, and Raptors vs. Spurs.
Our picks include a best bet and NBA same game multi, and we’re looking forward to the NBA action this weekend.
Cavaliers vs. Pistons Predictions
—
Best Bet
The Pistons looked good when firing past the Rocket and Celtics in their last two games, and the future is bright for this franchise.
They lost their opening game against Chicago in a close affair, and although the Cavaliers are packed with quality players, including Donovan Mitchell, they don’t always play well on the road, and the Pistons are a good defensive team.
Getting $2.14 is a fair price from bookmakers, so we’re happy to snap up the value NBA odds.
—
Same Game Multi
Cade Cunningham has come of age over the last few years, and he’s now a premier scorer for the Pistons. The 25.5-point line is on the high side, but we’re backing him to produce the goods against the Cavaliers.
27.5 points is also high for Mitchell, so we’re backing the under. He could struggle to get going against a tough Detroit defence, in what could be a low-scoring game. That’s why we’ve also included under 230.5 points in our NBA SGM picks.

Magic vs. 76ers Predictions
—
Best Bet
The 76ers have made a good start to their 2025/26 season with a 2-0 record, but Joel Embiid is once again injured. It has affected the line for Tuesday’s game, and the Magic are now favourites to win and cover the spread.
Despite Philadelphia being a decent team without Embiid, we’re going with Orlando. It looks to turn around consecutive losses, and we can’t see the Magic going on three-game losing runs too often this year.
They have a good team, which is still improving, and it’s good enough to hand the 76ers their first loss of the year. Take the –3.5 line, which will likely be bet into a lower price.
—
Same Game Multi
There is a lot of pressure on Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecome to perform with Embiid out, and the pressure could be too much for them.
Maxey is a good scoring without Embiid in the lineup, but he might need a few games to adjust. We’re backing the under for both players, with Maxey’s line set at 28.5 points. That’s a high line, and he could have to settle for around 24 points.
We’re also including under 225.5 points based on the 76ers’ potential scoring issues.
—
Raptors vs. Spurs Predictions
—
Best Bet
We are loving what the Spurs have produced so far, headlined by stellar play from former Rookie of the Year Victor Wembanyama.
He has been playing off the charts, and he’s an early contender for MVP honours. He’s lifting the Spurs to potentially be a playoff threat, and with him on the court and healthy, the Spurs should beat teams like the Raptors.
He’s unguardable at his height, and he’s added some weight to make him even harder to defend. Stephon Castle is also playing well, so the Spurs should have no problem covering the –5.5 spread on Tuesday.
—
Same Game Multi
It’s hard not to include Wembanyama is our NBA multi picks, and we’re happy to ride him for most of the year. It has been an incredible start for the young star, and without a defender capable of stopping him, he should have another high scoring game.
The same goes for Castle, who must make his own shot. However, he’s a good guard, and he’s only growing in confidence. Back both players in your NBA SGM bets.
Over 232.5 is worth including based on the Spurs offence. They could score around 128 points, which should see the over cash.
