The NBA season is in full swing now and there’s a great card of games scheduled for this Saturday.
All the big games this Saturday are happening in the afternoon and we’re going to target those high-profile contests.
Bucks vs. Jazz, 76ers vs. Nuggets and Heat vs. Lakers should have NBA fans and punters excited.
We’ll have NBA betting tips for you every Saturday!
Milwaukee Bucks vs. Utah Jazz @ Vinint Smart Home Arena
The Bucks have started their season in good order and playing on the road hasn’t posed many concerns.
They are currently 6-2 on the season after beating the Leonard-less Clippers on Thursday and four of those wins have come on the road.
Milwaukee was always going to have the advantage over the Clippers with Kawhi Leonard, but they really produced a good team effort.
Having MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo in your team helps your chances and he’ll give this Utah team something to think about.
The Jazz are also traveling sweetly in the early stages of the season. They’re 6-3 and 5-0 at home after beating Philadelphia by two points on Thursday.
They rely mostly on Donovan Mitchell to do the scoring, but they also have the best defensive player in the NBA.
Frenchman Rudy Gobert is a force on the boards, averaging 12 rebounds per game. Opposing shooters change their shots if he’s in their eye sight.
That’s how big his impact is and he could negate the range of the Greek Freak.
The Jazz are much better defensively so we’re going with Utah in what should be a close game.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Denver Nuggets @ Pepsi Centre
The Denver Nuggets host the 76ers on Saturday and we’re expecting a close game.
Denver is currently 5-2 on the season after beating the Magic and Heat in preparation for this game. That stopped a two-game slide which saw them lose to Dallas and New Orleans.
It was important for the Nuggets to show consistency this season, as they’re in the hunt in the western conference.
Denver has always been tough to play at home and with a solid offense and good defense, that should be a recipe for success.
Nikola Jokic is a do-it-all player but they’re getting great production from Jamal Murray. He has averaged 18.9 points per game this season on 45.2% shooting.
Looking to upset those figures are the 76ers, which went to 5-3 on the season after losing to the Jazz on Thursday.
They have now dropped two games in a row after losing to Phoenix earlier in the week. They’ll need to start producing better basketball in order to win.
However, Ben Simmons is listed as questionable, so his availability will have a big impact on this game.
Denver matches up well against this Philadelphia team and we’re picking them to get the job done at home.

Miami Heat vs. Los Angeles Lakers @ STAPLES Centre
LeBron suits up against his former team this Saturday and a big crowd will be on hand at STAPLES Centre.
The Lakers are cruising along nicely at 6-1 and they are yet to disappoint their home crowd – boasting a 3-0 home record.
They didn’t look good in the opening game of the season against the Clippers, but any doubts about their ability have been put to rest.
James and Anthony Davis are working well and LeBron has rattled off three consecutive triple-doubles.
Davis leads the team in points scored with an average of 26.6 and he also leads rebounds with 10.9 per game.
For the Heat, they’re 5-2 on the season and playing good basketball. They don’t have a stack of experience but Kendrick Nunn is doing the business on the offensive front.
Miami doesn’t match up too badly against the Lakers, despite the lack of superstars. They scored two points more than the Lakers and gives up only five points more on defense.
Those numbers are fairly good for a team that doesn’t have the likes of James and Davis.
The Lakers should win this game, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see the Heat make it a close game until the fourth quarter.
