Los Angeles Lakers vs. Denver Nuggets Game 4
Game 3 is tough to describe for those that didn’t watch it, but the Nuggets came away with the victory.
Denver got back into the series with a 114-106 win over the Lakers, but they were made to work for it in the final quarter.
The Nuggets held a 20-point lead in the fourth quarter before a spirited comeback from the Lakers, which saw them trim the lead to a one-bucket score.
However, the Nuggets showed why they are a top-four side this season, and they pulled off a late rally to win by eight points.
It sets up for an all-important Game 4 on Friday, where the Lakers are the current favourites. It isn’t surprising to see bookmakers side with the Lakers, but it should be another closely-fought contest.
Denver has a side that can keep up with any team in the NBA. Nikola Jokic is the best centre in the league, and he came up big on Wednesday.
The big man has averaged almost 20 points per game during the playoffs, and although he hasn’t been deadly from the three, the threat is always there.
Jamal Murray has also been warming to the task and he looks more confident. Having Murray play with confidence is huge for Denver, who will look to square the series.
However, standing in their way are is Lebron James, Anthony Davis, and the Lakers. They are a formidable team that typically has no problems in bouncing back from a loss.
A positive for the Lakers is the way they were able to rally in the fourth quarter on Wednesday. They looked tired, but they went on a massive run, which is a good sign for Game 4.
We are expecting the Lakers to come out with plenty of force, but we are also expecting the Nuggets to hold steady. They match up well against the Lakers and they have the ability to stay in the game, no matter what the deficit.
For that reason, we are taking the Nuggets to cover the spread. They were +7.5-8.5 underdogs in every game against the Clippers, but that line has moved to +6 against the Lakers.
They should be able to keep this game close and stick with the Lakers.

LA Lakers vs. Denver Nuggets Game 4 exotic betting tips
Punters always get good value in the exotic betting markets, and we like the look of the Big Win Little Win market.
We can’t see either team winning by more than 10 points, so a good option is to back both teams 1-10. The Lakers are paying $2.72 and the Nuggets are $4, which is great value for both sides.
Another exotic option worth backing is Michael Porter Jr in the Player Performance market. Take Porter to score 10+ points coupled with a Denver win, and you receive odds of $5.
The First Basket market is always fun and it makes the start of the game that much more exciting. We fancy the Lakers to win the tip as they have better jumpers, so our first basket scorer will be a Laker.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had a big game on Wednesday, so look for LeBron James to get the hot hand an early look. KCP is paying $13 to score the first bucket, which is excellent value.
Our final exotic bet is the Totals Points, which is currently set at 214.5. These two teams don’t play much defense, so take the Over 214.5 @ $1.90.
