11:30am Chicago Bulls vs Milwaukee Bucks @ Fiserv Forum
It hasn’t been a good start for the Bulls or the Bucks, but we’re backing the Bucks to win consecutive games following a win over Houston.
The win was a 101-100 result, so it was close, and they are good enough to turn the tables on the Bulls, who won 133-122 earlier in the year. That was a bad performance for the Bucks, who are 5-9, so the pressure is on them early.
Chicago comes off a 122-112 win over Detroit on the road, which should lift its spirits. It was a good bounce back following heavy losses to the Cavaliers and Rockets, where they allowed 144 and 143 points respectively.
Similar defence sees them losing against the Bucks, who will be favourites to win and they should cover the spread with the help of playing at home.

12:00pm Indiana Pacers vs Houston Rockets @ Toyota Center
We were impressed with the Rockets when losing 101-100 to the Bucks, and getting back home should see their best form return.
They are riding a five-game winning streak at home, and although the Pacers have a good team on paper, they are there for the taking. They are now 6-8 after losing to the Raptors 130-119, and they’re not playing well as a unit.
That should be enough for the Rocket to take advantage and get back to winning form, and their form before losing to the Bucks was impressive. They scored four consecutive wins over the Wizards, Clippers, and Bulls, so their form stacks up well against a team as inconsistent as the Pacers.
The Rockets currently lead the Southwest division, and we don’t see that lead coming under threat for the next couple of weeks. They are an impressive young side, and with the addition of Fred VanVleet, they have gone to another level.
Betting tip: Houston Rockets

2:30pm Orlando Magic vs Los Angeles Clippers @ Intuit Dome
Injuries continue to ravage the Clippers, as they do every year, but after winning their last two games, there is some hope on the horizon.
They had a losing streak before beating Utah and Golden State, and beating the Warriors 102-99 came as a +4.5 underdog, so it was a good upset win. They need to continue that form against the visiting Magic, who are 9-6 after winning five on the bounce.
Packed with impressive young players, the Magic are doing great, and they have been playing without star Paolo Banchero in the lineup. When he returns, they’ll be even better, but he will miss this game, and that gives the Clippers the edge.
Orlando is 2-6 on the road, which is its only negative, and the Clippers could take advantage. They have their confidence back after two wins, and they’re good enough to cover the spread in front of a home crowd on Thursday.
Betting tip: Los Angeles Clippers
