NBA Tuesday Tips
—
12:00pm Cleveland Cavaliers vs Chicago Bulls @ United Center
The Cleveland Cavaliers have yet to lose a game at 11-0, and that statistic is tough to overlook on Tuesday.
They improved to 10-0 with a demolishing of the Golden State Warriors 136-117 before beating the Nets 105-100 in much closer game. Having had that tough game holds them in good stead against the Bulls, who ended a losing streak with a win over Atlanta.
Chicago hadn’t been playing well after posting four straight losses to the Nets, Jazz, Mavericks, and Timberwolves. The loss to the Jazz was a terrible result given how bad they are, but the 125-113 win over the Hawks is a better sign.
However, there is more momentum with the Cavaliers, who are the only unbeaten team in the NBA. Donovan Mitchell is playing well and they have beaten quality teams, including back-to-back games against Milwaukee.
We’re prepared to take whatever odds are available for the Cavaliers.

12:00pm Los Angeles Clippers vs Oklahoma City Thunder @ Paycom Center
The Oklahoma City Thunder is living up to our high expectations after going 8-1 through their first nine NBA games. However, they face a tough test against the suddenly-hot Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday.
The Clippers started 2-4, but after posting wins over the Spurs, 76ers, Kings, and Raptors, confidence is back in the camp, which has been rocked by injuries to the likes of Kawhi Leonard. Without Leonard, they’ve been able to get offence from Norman Powell, who is averaging 25.5 points per game.
Powell isn’t expected to be a top scorer, but he’s doing well, and he’ll need to be at his best to score on a tough Thunder defence, which allowed only 92 points in their first meeting against the Clippers.
The Thunders’ only loss was a 124-122 losing effort to the Nuggets, so they’re playing well and we expect them to be too refined for the Clippers. They have multiple scoring threats, and their defence is superior.
Betting tip: Oklahoma City Thunder

12:00pm Sacramento Kings vs San Antonio Spurs @ Frost Bank Center
The Kings and Spurs look to rebound from losses, and a close game is expected in Texas.
San Antonio lost 111-110 to the Utah Jazz, and it came at home, so it wasn’t a good loss. However, it followed a good win over the Trail Blazers.
Sitting at 4-6, the Spurs have made a solid enough start, but they’re not expected to post a winning record, despite having Victor Wembanyama on their side.
The Kings are expected to make the playoffs, and despite being only 5-4 and playing inconsistent basketball, they shouldn’t take long to find a rhythm. They lost 107-98 to the Clippers at home, but it followed wins over the Heat and Raptors.
De’Aaron Fox is a scoring superstar for the Kings, and he could be the difference against the Spurs.
Betting tip: Sacramento Kings
