We have Bullets vs. Taipans predictions for Round 7 of the NBL on Thursday, October 30 at 7:30 PM at Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
It’s an all-Queensland affair on Thursday night, where the Taipans are a good chance to end the losing drought.
Bullets vs. Taipans Predictions

Best Bet
There is good value in backing the Taipans with head-to-head markets, but we’re going with the safer option and taking them with the +5.5 line.
They were hammered by United last week, and they haven’t won for weeks. However, now is the best time to back them. They often throw in a good performance, and with the Bullets returning home after winning in Auckland against the Breakers, they could be fatigued.
We don’t think there is much between them, and it all depends on how well the Taipans players score. They need Admiral Schofield to show why he was signed, and a little help from Andrew Andrews and Marcus Lee wouldn’t go astray.

Same Game Multi
The Taipans need a big showing from Schofield, and we’re backing in the American import to show up on Thursday night. He scored only 11 points against United, but Brisbane’s defence isn’t nearly as strong, so look for an improved showing.
Punters get $2.60 odds for 20+ points, which is a good price. The odds for Reyne Smith to score two three-pointers isn’t as impressive, but he should chime in. He has nine made threes from his last three games, so the average has improved.
Defence should take a backwards step in this game, so over 176.5 points is worth including in NBL multi picks. The final score could be around 90-89, so include it to boost payouts.

Best Value Bet
There is a good chance of the Taipans pulling off a big upset, so we’re snapping up the $3.90 for a 1-10 win.
They don’t need to improve too much to beat teams like the Bullets. Slowing down Casey Prather would help, but he can get into early foul trouble if the Taipans play with aggression, which has been sorely lacking.
Jobs are on the line this week, so punters should expect a desperate showing from the road team.
