We have Hawks vs. Breakers predictions for Round 7 of the NBL on Friday, October 31 at 7:30 PM at WIN Entertainment Centre.
It’s always a good game between the Hawks and Breakers, where last year’s NBL champions are the $1.50 favourites to prevail.
Hawks vs. Breakers Predictions
—
Best Bet
Boasting two wins from their last three games, the Hawks could be back to their best, and a win over the Breakers is likely at home.
We typically find good value when backing the Breakers, but with the Hawks having JaVale McGee in the paint, we don’t see how the visitors stop him. He makes buckets look easy, as a former NBA player should, and the Breakers could allow him to score 20+ points.
They also have Tyler Harvey, who heated up with 24 points against the Wildcats on Saturday. That was a good performance, and if Harvey is confident, he can elevate the Hawks to another level.

Same Game Multi
Punters get $1.90 for McGee to have 25+ points, and if he stays out of foul trouble, he should have little problem scoring. He comes off a 24-point performance against the Wildcats, and he could dominate the Breakers in the paint.
There are also good odds for Todd Blanchfield to post 4+ rebounds. Punters get $2.12 for him to have a solid day on the boards, and he has recent totals of 8, 3, 6, and 3. He’s always around the mark, so include him for value.
With the Breakers likely to struggle offensively, we’re including under 181.5 points. The final score could be around 94-82, so there is plenty of wiggle room.

Best Value Bet
When the Hawks win, they often win the first half comfortably. We can’t see them being behind at the half against the Breakers, who are notoriously slow starters.
Playing on the road doesn’t help New Zealand, so if the Hawks are anywhere near their best, they should hold a good halftime lead and never look back.
Take the $1.96 as a value price. We would have been happy with odds around $1.80.
