Best Bet

We didn’t see United losing four games on the bounce after being the strongest team through 10 rounds, but it’s time to bounce back against the Hawks.

The Hawks haven’t been all that impressive, despite coming off a win over the struggling Bullets, and they have been one of the more disappointing teams this season. We love what JaVale McGee does on offence, but the rest of the team leaves little to be desired.

United should fancy their chances of winning and covering the spread. They lost in overtime to NBL title favourites Adelaide last week, but just getting to overtime was an incredible comeback. They should build on that, so back United –5.5.

Same Game Multi

We have been critical of Milton Doyle’s play in the clutch, but he still had 21 points against Adelaide, and this game could see his confidence levels return. The American is a quality shooter, and United need him to perform on Thursday.

McGee could play in a losing team, but he’s set for a 20+ point performance. The Hawks’ big man is a beast inside the paint, and he’s almost impossible to defend because of his size and dunking ability. He should have no problem scoring 20 points.

Confidence is with Doyle, who hasn’t scored 25+ points recently, but he knows the pressure is on to perform against the Hawks.

Based on the way the Hawks play defence, he won’t lack opportunities to score, and it could be a season-high total for the talented import.
