Week 6 of the NFL is shaping up to be one of the most evenly-contested rounds of the year.
There are no significant mismatches and punters should enjoy some close games and exciting finishes.
Friday afternoon games don’t usually headline the week, but the Panthers host the Eagles this Friday in what should be one of the best games of the year so far.
It’s two elite quarterbacks and it’s a great way to start another week in the NFL.

11:25am Carolina Panthers vs. Philadelphia Eagles
The Carolina Panthers continue to be underrated by bookmakers despite sitting at 4-1 on the season.
The Panthers are currently $21 to win the Super Bowl which is still great value, but expect that price to shorten if they beat the Eagles on Friday.
The Eagles are also 4-1 after beating the Cardinals easily on Monday, but the majority of their wins have come against sub-par teams and a better Eagles team will need to show up here.
Carolina Panthers’ fans have every right to be excited this year after recent wins coming over the Patriots and Lions – who of the highest-rated teams in the league.
We think the Panthers should have the advantage at home.
Betting tip: Panthers to win @ $1.55 – (BET NOW)

4:00am Atlanta Falcons vs. Miami Dolphins
Despite sitting comfortably at 2-2, there are problems at the quarterback position for the Dolphins.
Former Bears QB Jay Cutler has been anything but ordinary in his time in Miami, but they don’t exactly have options and he will need to up his game against one of the premier QB’s in the league.
Matt Ryan has had an indifferent year to date with five touchdowns and five intercepts. He’s missing some key players on offense including Julio Jones, but he should be able to find his groove against a Miami team that struggles with good passers.
The current line is 11.5 and we think the Falcons could cover that in the first half.
Betting tip: Falcons –11.5 @ $1.96 (BET NOW)

4:00am Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers
One of the better rivalries in the NFL sees the Vikings come up against the in-form Green Bay Packers.
The Vikings were slim winners over the Bears on Tuesday, but there was much confidence gained from the sloppy victory.
On the other side of the coin, the Packers were brilliant in coming back to beat the Cowboys in Dallas and it’s wins like that which hold them in good stead for the rest of the season.
The Vikings typically improve when they play the Packers, but one team possesses too much offense for the other and Packers’ fans should come away happy.
Betting tip: Packers –3 @ $1.95 (BET NOW)

4:00am New Orleans Saints vs. Detroit Lions
Did someone say shootout? Two quality quarterbacks go at it this Monday morning as Matt Stafford and Drew Brees face off.
Brees has thrown for eight touchdowns and no intercepts in what has been an underrated year to date. Stafford has thrown nine touchdowns and one intercept, but he was limited last week against the Panthers.
The Lions are seemingly limping to their bye week next round and the Saints appear to be riding the momentum coming into this with wins against the Panthers and Dolphins.
Fresh off a bye week, the Saints are well-favoured to win and we’re leaning that way as well.
Betting tip: Saints –6 @ $2.05 (BET NOW)

4:00am New York Jets vs. New England Patriots
The Jets are unbeaten at home in two games this season, but they face an unbeaten road team in the Patriots.
The Patriots grinded out a win in Tampa Bay last Friday and with an extended period to recover from that win, the Patriots are in good shape against the Jets – the same team that passed on Tom Brady in the NFL draft.
The Jets are riding a three-game winning streak, which punters didn’t see coming, but beating the Browns by three points shouldn’t be seen as a success.
There are plenty of worries for both teams this week, but the Jets are getting 9.5 points at home and that’s too good to pass up considering the Patriots defensive woes.
Betting tip: Jets +9.5 @ $1.88 (BET NOW)
Patriots by 6
4:00am Washington Redskins vs. San Francisco 49ers
Punters are predicting a one-way game here and so are we.
The 49ers are 0-5 and despite losing their last two games in overtime, that won’t help them against the Redskins here.
Washington is trying to bounce back after losing to the unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs, but that’s no knock on their record and their form prior included wins over Oakland and the Rams.
The 49ers need to show resolve for their dwindling fan base, but facing a pass-happy Redskins team could spell disaster once again.
Betting tip: Redskins –10.5 @ $2.01 (BET NOW)

4:00am Baltimore Ravens vs. Chicago Bears
The Ravens got back on track this season with a 30-17 win against the Derek Carr-less Oakland Raiders last round.
The Ravens have been an enigmatic team this season which started with consecutive wins over the Bengals and Browns, but coming up against good defensive teams has been its downfall.
They suffered poor losses to the Jaguars and Steelers where they gave up 70 points across the two games.
Bears’ fans were excited to see a new quarterback on Tuesday and whilst Mitch Trubitsky showed some talent, he looked like a fish out of water.
The Ravens should have too much power for the struggling Bears.
Betting tip: Ravens – 6.5 @ $1.94 (BET NOW)

4:00am Houston Texans vs. Cleveland Browns
The Houston Texans loss to the Kansas City Chiefs came at a price on Monday.
The Texans lost J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus – two of their best defensive players and that has all but put an end to their Super Bowl chances.
They still have an up-and-coming quarterback in Deshaun Watson, but he’s a rookie and leading the team without the experience of Watt will be tough.
Making it easier this week will be playing the Browns, which have stunk so far this season.
The Browns are 0-5 and it’s not like they have played good teams. Losses to the Steelers, Ravens, Colts, Bengals and Jets don’t exactly make for happy times in Cleveland.
Despite their injuries, expect the Texans to rally behind their QB here.
Betting tip: Texans 1-13 @ $2.13 (BET NOW)
Texans by 7
7:05am Arizona Cardinals vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Both teams enter Week 6 with a recent loss under their belts and this is a key bounce back game for one team.
The Cardinals fell to 2-3 after losing heavily to the Eagles and the Buccs’ went to 2-2 after their loss to the Patriots.
The Buccaneers looked the better team as a whole, but penalties hurt the team which looked to have enough potential to beat the Patriots.
There isn’t much to get excited about if you’re a Cardinals fan. The team has scored an average of 16.2 points this season, but has given up 25.
That’s a recipe for disaster and the Buccs’ are good enough to exploit that.
Betting tip: Buccaneers to win @ $1.83 (BET NOW)
Buccaneers by 8
7:05am Jacksonsville Jaguars vs. L.A. Rams
Two 3-2 teams face off her and the home side is currently being favoured by bookmakers.
The Jaguars looked like one of the best defensive teams in the NFL against the Steelers last week – scoring five interceptions in a dominant performance.
Getting back on home soil will help the Jaguars and the stats read well for them. They scored just under three points less than the Rams per game, but give up eight points less.
The Rams will need to be on high alert when passing the ball against this offense, so expect running back Todd Gurley to be heavily used.
That could make it tough for the Rams and we’re expecting a hostile environment for rookie QB Jared Goff.
Betting tip: Jaguars to win @ $1.69 (BET NOW)
Jaguars by 10
7:25am Kansas City Chiefs vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
The Kansas City Chiefs are the only unbeaten team left in the NFL, but they face a Steelers team determined to get back on track.
The Steelers were woeful against the Jaguars last week and their inconsistency this season is making it hard for punters to follow.
The Chiefs have been prolific scorers this season, averaging 32.8 points per game and considering QB Alex Smith doesn’t throw down the field often, that’s some number.
They will continue to run the ball with impressive rookie Kareem Hunt and the Steelers rushing defensive will need to improve.
Bookmakers are keeping this game tight, but there’s a lack of respect for the Chiefs.
Betting tip: Chiefs –4 @ $1.86 (BET NOW)
Chiefs by 13
7:25am Oakland Raiders vs. L.A. Chargers
The odds are off the table at the moment because injured quarterback Derek Carr could play.
If Carr plays, it shows how desperate the Raiders are to win this week after dropping their last three games after going 2-0 to start the season.
Playing Carr will be dangerous and we doubt he’s in the best of health. The Chargers could take advantage of this and they have momentum after coming back to beat the Giants.
The 1-4 Chargers have been the hard luck story of 2017, but there’s nothing like a last-season resurgence and they have it in them.
If Carr plays the Raiders will likely be favoured by a touchdown, but the value is with the Chargers regardless.
Betting tip: Chargers to win (BET NOW)
Chargers by 3
11:30am Denver Broncos vs. New York Giants
It just goes from bad to worse for the Giants, which lost its fifth consecutive game on Monday.
They also lost star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jnr and that could spell the end of the Giants season.
The Broncos are 3-1 after beating the Raiders last week and although it wasn’t an exciting performance,1 they got the job done well.
The Broncos are heavy favourites to beat the Giants which look lost in all aspects and we can see this being a Monday afternoon blowout, much like punters do.
Betting tip: Broncos –11.5 @ $1.94 (BET NOW)
Broncos by 20
11:30am Tennessee Titans vs. Indianapolis Colts
This game is also off the board currently, but the Titans will be the favoured team.
Quarterback Marcus Mariota is out for Titans and losing two consecutive games won’t hold them in good stead, but the Colts aren’t good.
The Colts managed to beat the 49ers in overtime last week, but their only other win came against the Browns and it’s easy to see which teams they enjoy facing.
The Titans have enough in reserve to handle the Colts on what should be one of the least-exciting Tuesday afternoon games in NFL history.
Betting tip: Titans to win (BET NOW)
